"yah... stay still, will you? i cannot treat your wounds if you don't cooperate" i scolded hyein while attempting to lock her left knee between my knees.
"i-it hurts! how can i sit still?!" hyein sobbed as she winces when i put an ointment on the scratch of her knee.
"really?" i could only scoff seeing her crying over a tiny thing like this. then, i put a plaster on her knee and place a soft kiss on it. "done, now stop crying and wipe your tears"
hyein wiped her tears and smiled at me. "thank you, y/n" she said as she pulls me into a tight hug and kiss my cheek.
it's cute how fast her mood changes.
"mhm," i said and let her hug me tight. a moment later, she lets me go and holds my hand, bringing us back to our class.
"it's adorable to see i am the one who towering over you!" she starts to tease me. this kid will never stop teasing my height whenever she breathes. "hah! i'm even 4 months younger than you!" she leans close to my face and smirks.
"nobody asked" i rolled my eyes and walked faster.
"oh come on, y/n! don't deny what i said! you're adorable though!" hyein tells me while i simply rolled my eyes. why do i even get into a relationship with this tall kid?? why do i feel my heart fluttering?? shit.
then, hyein hugged me from the back, picking me up also, earning a loud groan from me. "let me go, you idiot!"
"no! i want to keep hugging you!"

''hey little storm cloud" hyein called out y/n with a random name, making y/n turn around to look at hyein with a weird look on her face.
"the fuck is little storm cloud"
"i mean look at the sky, it's going to rain in any minute!" hyein explained. "you had a grumpy cloud on your head!"
"you're talking nonsense" y/n stated as she heard hyein laugh from behind. she couldn't help but smile. "cute" she then cringed and shake her head.
"i heard what you just said, y/n!" hyein bumps her shoulder with y/n's. "you called me cute!"
"no, i don't" y/n keep her blank face on but her cheeks reddened. she literally cursed herself inside.
hyein couldn't help but giggle when she heard y/n call her 'cute'. the compliment caught her off-guard, but she was pleasantly surprised by it - y/n never felt the need to express her love for hyein with words, often opting to show her affection through meaningful gifts, unexpected hugs in private moments, and other small gestures. despite her reticence to express her feelings verbally, y/n often texted hyein meaningful compliments and expressions of gratitude, her way of telling hyein how much she appreciated her without having to say it out loud. in her unique way, y/n always made sure hyein felt loved and appreciated.
while hyein was blushing and getting shy around her girlfriend, y/n noticed hyein's favorite chocolate bar is being promoted with a 5% discount.
just because y/n had a little extra cash in her pocket ( she rarely brought cash to the school ), so she decided to use it to get something special for hyein. she walked into the candy shop, remembering how hyein always loved her special kind of chocolate bar. with a warm small smile, she purchased the sugary treat and left the store without hyein's knowledge.
when hyein finally realized that her favorite treat had been bought just for her, she was touched by y/n's small gesture of affection and kindness.
"aww you shouldn't buy this for me, you know!" hyein took the chocolate bar and smiles widely. "so you do love me!"
y/n turned around to not let hyein see her cheeks redden. as well as her small smile. "s-shit..."
"i see you're smiling! stop hiding it from me!" hyein cupped y/n's face. y/n was shocked by hyein's sudden action. well, it's not wrong for hyein to kiss her lips right away. y/n is adorable.
"you're adorable, y/n!" hyein giggles after they broke the kiss.
y/n tried to keep her blank face, but she just couldn't resist hyein's cuteness. with her wide smile plastered on her face, it's a lie if y/n wouldn't fall deeper for hyein.
"aish, j-just stop it..."
"geez! your face is red as a tomato, y/n!"
