how ridiculous - y/n, a low status personal maid, had an affair with the princess she was meant to take care of? however, it was not her plan; princess jihye herself called her into the chamber and kissed y/n out of nowhere.

still in disbelief, y/n thought the princess was drunk, but no, the princess continued to kiss her. even lifting y/n up and dropping her on her bed, the princess didn't show any sign of stopping.

the suddenness of the gesture caused y/n to melt into a puddle of emotions as she felt the princess' lips against her own - her body felt like it was floating on air, as the princess' loving touches brought her into a world of pure ecstasy.

as y/n let her eyes close and surrendered herself to the princess' embrace, she couldn't help but wonder...

could such a beautiful princess truly want her?

from that, the affair between them started, bringing y/n a euphoria she never thought she would feel. but all
the joy was short lived when the princess was forced to marry someone in order to become the queen of
the kingdom.

although hurt by the situation, y/n knew she was just a maid. who was she to feel hurt? the princess was clearly intended for someone else, and y/n knew that.

she wanted what was best for the princess, even if it meant giving up her own feelings.

the affair felt so wrong, yet it was so right. but y/n knew that things couldn't go on like this forever. what if one day another maid or princess jihye's family caught them? that was something y/n did not want to risk - death was not something she was ready to face yet.

there was one question that y/n couldn't help but ask herself; why does princess jihye not let her leave? the way princess jihye's lips pressed against her own and the way their bodies collided... it was all too much for y/n to resist.

despite her reservations, and the danger of being caught, her body was too intoxicated with princess jihye's comforting touch to move on.

no matter what, y/n knew she had to fight her own desire to let go of her feelings - she had to let her go, for her own good.

"y/n," princess jihye called, and y/n froze in her tracks. her soft voice was like honey to her ears, summoning y/n back to her.

how could she resist her soft voice, calling her name? y/n knew she had to resist her desire, but it was so hard to resist when princess jihye sounded so sweet.

"dani, stop it." y/n blurted out, trying to sound cold, but her words came out sounding more like a plea. she tried to slap away princess jihye's hand off her wrist, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. and her heart melted upon looking up to princess jihye's eyes.

oh.

"dani" was princess jihye's nickname, a term of endearment only used by her family, but she allows y/n to call her that too - and it makes y/n feel special that princess jihye considers her special enough to call her by that nickname.
