Sitting in the family room having breakfast before the girls and our son wake up, we all engaged in conversation.

"That's all Chrys." He responded. "We we're talking about decorations and I had mentioned I wanted to do something different but didn't know what and she suggested we do a Christmas village for the tree."

"Well I love it." Chandra spoke. "And so do the girls. You should have seen their faces last night when it came on."

"Me too. Right momma?" Netia asked.

"Mhmm." She nodded. "I was pleasantly surprised."

"How long did it take to set up Chrys?"

"It took us a couple hours. I don't know why Aug is talking as if it was only me who did it."

As we continued talking, the door bell rang. Deciding to answer it, I greeted my parents.

"Merry Christmas princess." My dad smiled as I let them in.

Greeting everyone, I showed them to the kitchen where they could fix themselves breakfast.

"I see someone was up late baking." My mother smirked.

"Yes and I had help too." I smiled as I looked at Aug. "I learned how to make French bread, New Orleans style."

"And she did good." He kissed me on my cheek.

Fixing themselves a plate, I decided to go check on our son. Still sleeping, I gently patted his bum as he slept on his belly. Leaving, I became startled by Aug's presence.

"My bad babe. He's still sleeping?"

"Yes he is." I wrapped my arms round his neck.

"Good. Come with me." He took my hand.

Walking downstairs, we walked up the hall to where his studio was, only we went to the door that was after it.

"I didn't want to wait any longer, but this is the most important gift for you."

"Okay." I let out a nervous laugh.

Handing me a key, I looked at it confused. Taking it from him, I put it in the door knob, turned and opened it. Walking in, I flipped the switch on the wall and gasped.

"I've been watching you craft and make stuff with your hands for the past what, two, three years now and I figured this would the the ultimate Christmas gift for you. Your own crafting space."

Turning to him, I let out a high pitch squeal which then turned into me thanking him repeatedly before jumping on him, making him laugh.

"Merry Christmas babe."
