Tang Ning's feet were held in Mo Yunchu's palm; they were not small, yet Mo Yunchu's hand was excessively broad. Combined with Tang Ning's remarkably delicate skin, one couldn't help but associate it with a term suitable for intimate exploration.

Shadows flickered on the glass door, and the hidden gaze sent shivers down Tang Ning's spine.

A handkerchief meticulously wiped the dirt off Tang Ning's legs, sending a subtle shiver through him. Tang Ning turned his head, attempting to evade the reflection on the glass door. The bathroom walls, adorned with countless pristine tiles, reflected Tang Ning's self-deceptive visage on each gleaming surface.

Tang Ning wished to curl up, overwhelmed by an invasive fear and shame threatening to engulf him.

—Stay away.

"What's wrong?" Mo Yunchu softly inquired, "What is Little Ning afraid of?"

—Please, I beg you.

Mo Yunchu set aside the handkerchief, cupping Tang Ning's pale face with both hands. His fingers gently pressed against Tang Ning's cheekbones, his profound phoenix eyes unwaveringly fixed on Tang Ning, as if capable of extracting the deepest secrets from one's soul. "Tell me, okay?"

—Save me.

A drop of blood-red liquid seeped from the ceiling, splashing onto the cold tiles.

Tang Ning's shoulders trembled uncontrollably with each dripping water droplet, reminding him of the real nightmare he had experienced in the bathroom on the first day. How could he narrate all of this to Mo Yunchu without revealing the presence of ghosts?

He felt like he was losing his mind.

Fearing insanity.

"During this time, Little Ning, your emotions have not been quite good, and I'm worried about you," Mo Yunchu's fingers glided over Tang Ning's brow, repeatedly and gently caressing. The touch was so tender that Tang Ning felt like crying.

"Still troubled by the funeral car incident? I've thought of a solution. I'll accompany you to find the driver of the hearse and inquire about the details. How does that sound?"

Tang Ning almost doubted his hearing. This was something he had wanted to do, but due to fear of Old Liu and the unknown, he hadn't dared to act alone.

Tang Ning looked at Mo Yunchu in disbelief, his eyes glistening with tears under the light, like a surprise fallen from the heavens had left him stunned. "Can it really be done?"

Mo Yunchu smiled gently. "Of course."

"But you have a filming schedule," Tang Ning hesitated.

"It's okay. Taking a day off is not a problem," Mo Yunchu reassured, patting Tang Ning's head. "Feeling better now?"

With a docile gaze, Tang Ning nodded earnestly. He wanted to thank Mo Yunchu but worried that Mo Yunchu might expect some reward. After careful consideration, Tang Ning cautiously kissed Mo Yunchu's jawline, observing his reaction. If Mo Yunchu showed any inclination to deepen the kiss, Tang Ning would withdraw like a startled animal.

But Mo Yunchu remained still, his deep phoenix eyes revealing no emotion.

Encouraged, Tang Ning mustered a bit more courage. His eyelashes trembled, and he planted a hesitant kiss on the corner of Mo Yunchu's lips, releasing a sweet fragrance. Blushing, eyes closed, Tang Ning swiftly kissed Mo Yunchu on the lips.

Afterwards, Tang Ning quickly ended the kiss, eyes wide open, glancing nervously. He confessed from the bottom of his heart, "You're really amazing."

Mo Yunchu remained motionless, half-kneeling in front of Tang Ning. His usually handsome face, when devoid of expression, exuded an imposing and distant aura, making Tang Ning momentarily oblivious to any anomalies.
