Crystal's POV
Despite my loyalty to my father, the second he told me to stop helping with the mafia trouble he was in, I knew I was going to have to secretly help.
Each of my friends and Atlas knew about the situation, so we decided to come up with a plan that seemed normal to our parents, but we'd be able to get away with helping any way we could.
We told our parents we had band practice, which was believable, but if they asked when our next concert was, we just said we didn't have any for a while and it was just to make sure we don't get rusty.
Atlas going with me definitely threw them off, but I just said that Atlas wanted to do some of the behind the scenes work, and with how well Atlas got along with my friends, they believed me.
I knew dad was suspicious of me, so we'd drive to our normal practice spot, park our cars, put our phones in the glove box, then walk through the woods until we reached an abandoned house we decided to use as our base.
It didn't have too much to work with, but we were able to get some connection from it so we could use some of the gear my dad was going to throw out and recreate what we had to.
We managed to get a good amount of information since there wasn't a lot they had to go off of, so we could easily take what we found out and try to put together an equation.
Today was one of the days we just worked on our gear and use what we already know to try and pinpoint where he is hiding out.
"Hey, Kris, check this out" [Skyer]
"Huh, what's up?" [Crystal]
"Can you tell me if this seems important? Something inside me is telling me to check it out" [Skyler]
"Holy shit, where did you find this?" [Crystal]
"What did they find?" [Diamond]
"They managed to pinpoint where they're hiding, we've got nothing on numbers, but we've got a clear read on current residence, we just need numbers and weapons then we can anonymously send this info to my father" [Crystal]
"Then what? Who's to say Inpu doesn't do a check on what we have and find this place? We're screwed if he finds out" [Jax]
"Then we don't come here once the message is sent to my father, we take the plan elsewhere" [Crystal]
"Explain?" [Minx]
"My spare tire hasn't been replaced for my car yet, so that spot is empty, its a perfect hiding spot for the extra gear we have, combine that with us being able to disguise it as a tailgate party, we've got a pretty well hidden plan" [Crystal]
"But how do we get away from papa, who's to say he lets us out of the house that day, he'll already be on edge" [Atlas]
"Simple, we have a sleepover the night before, that way he expects us to be out all day and the most we'll get is a few rules to follow" [Crystal]
"We're so dead if we get caught" [Etch]
"Then we don't get caught, we've been thinking of this kind of stuff ever since the case opened, us not being allowed to take part just makes it a bit harder, but we've been studying this, we've got this" [Zach]
"Then let's go over each of our roles, if time is narrowing, we need to know what to expect" [Flyn]
"Roles are simple, Atlas and I will go in, the two of us are directly related, we should take the worst of the punishment, we'll place two cars hidden in the woods so we have an easy escape, cars will be driven by Diamond and Skyler, the rest of you are in the chair" [Crystal]
"Each chair has a role too, what are the specifics?" [Jax]
"Well, I'd prefer if Etch and Minx each stay in a car just incase medical attention is needed, Flyn and Jax will be giving live location updates, and Zach will be listening to the bug" [Crystal]
"Seems like everything is in order then, we just need to finish getting our information" [Atlas]
"Why are we even going in anyways? We can easily just get the information and send it over to your father, why do we need to go in?" [Skyler]
"This guy hurt both my fathers, he hurt me, and he threatened the rest of my family, this guy is getting dealt with the way papa has said he wants it dealt with, and most of the mafia won't easily follow that" [Crystal]
"While I'd love to continue talking about this, anyone have a time check?" [Diamond]
"Time check is 8:37" [Jax]
"SHIT! Atlas and I are late, our dads are probably worried sick" [Crystal]
"Get going then! The second we are found out this mission is over" [Skyler]
The two of us quickly ran to the car where we found our phones blowing up with tons of messages from our dads, so we just got home as fast as we could.
Once we got home, the guards noticed my car as I parked and decided to walk us to the door due to the fact the sun had already set.
We just thanked the guard before we walked into the house where we found our dads standing there clearly worried.
"Oh my god, you both worried us so much, why weren't you looking at your phones?" [Bryan]
"Papa, we're fine, we just were more focused on practice, nothing happened" [Crystal]
"Doesn't matter what the reason was, if you are going to be out of the house, especially when we have bigger issues to deal with, check your damn phones, we were worried sick, I was about to have a handful of my men go looking for you with how worried we were" [Inpu]
"Dad, we're fine aren't we? We have it under control, we constantly stay with seven other people, no one would try a damn thing" [Atlas]
"Both of you scared us, we won't take away your permission to go out daily like you both like doing, but you got to get better at looking at your phones while you practice" [Bryan]
"Bryan-" [Inpu]
"Look, Inpu, our world is going to hell right now, not allowing them near their friends is just something I can't in my right mind do to them" [Bryan]
"Fine, I'll side with your other father, but if this happens again, then you will have stuff taken away" [Inpu]
"Yes, dad" [Atlas]
"Understood" [Crystal]
Atlas and I went upstairs so we could check to make sure our homework was done for school tomorrow, but as we each reached a room far enough where our dads couldn't hear us, we both let out a sigh of relief.
That was too close!
