Bryan's POV

Because of everything Inpu was dealing with at work, whenever I could, I would make sure the house was in tip top shape so it at least looked nice.

The kids were each also doing what they could to help, but I was more worried about them keeping up with their work, so I wasn't too worried about them helping out.

Anubis and Izanami stopped over again for the night, so I was less worried tonight.

They were talking with the kids while I was working on a few sketches for work nearby.

It was obvious Anubis was trying to ask about what the kids expected to do in the future, but they were smart enough to not respond to the questions.

Inpu was just sitting behind me on the couch, just wrapping himself around me, but it was clear his father was annoying him at the moment.

"I'm just saying, each of them will eventually have a job, its just a matter of what spot they'd fill" [Anubis]

"That is up for my oldest to decide, you did the same with Magnus and I" [Inpu]

"Technically he didn't do that" [Izanami]

"What do you mean by that?" [Bryan]

"Zara was technically just put on assassinations, she's technically your older half sister" [Izanami]

"Inpu is considered the oldest cause Zara's mother passed away and there was proof she would leave me anyways, Zara wouldn't have been boss either way had her mother actually done that, now the reason is just the future boss needs to be related to the married in parent" [Anubis]

"So that's currently mom right now" [Inpu]

"Exactly" [Anubis]

"If we're going back to the roles my siblings and I will have, I already have an idea for it" [Crystal]

"You know what, entertain me, what do you see happening" [Bryan]

"Simple, as previously discussed, I will be the boss, Femi will be in charge of making sure missions finish up nicely, Lotus and Atlas will be debt collection, and when Artemis is old enough, he'll be on package collection" [Crystal]

"Alright, I can understand each of them but Artemis, may I ask why?" [Anubis]

"He can talk his way out of any situation, if anyone else wants what we ordered, he'll make them forget about it until he's already miles gone" [Crystal]

"You've clearly put a good amount of thought into this and that worries me" [Bryan]

"I still have my plan of running the mafia from a distance, I still have a music career to keep up after all" [Crystal]

"She's got the plan down, she'll be perfect in a few years" [Anubis]

"I don't plan on having her take over when she's 18 like you had me do, it'll go as needed, meaning she has until she's either 25 or I die for some reason" [Inpu]

"You're not dying on me" [Bryan]

"I don't plan on it, love" [Inpu]

"You both are being gross again" [Crystal]

"Trust me, kid, you get used to it" [Anubis]

"You do know what sarcasm is, right?" [Izanami]

"What meaning does that have now?" [Anubis]

"I see this every day, this is nothing new to me, I just say it to throw off my parents" [Crystal]

"Crystal, go get your siblings out of their rooms, dinner is going to be here soon" [Bryan]

"Alright, what did you order?" [Crystal]

"Surprise, now go" [Bryan]

Crystal ran upstairs and I heard her start to yell for her siblings.

They all ran down not long after, but I noticed something seemed off between Atlas and Crystal.

Not wanting anyone else to hear them if they were hiding something, I told them to help me set the table since the dinning room was on the other side of the house from where we were.

"So, what are you both hiding" [Bryan]

"What do you mean, we aren't hiding anything" [Atlas]

"Spoken like someone who is hiding something" [Bryan]

"How do you-?" [Crystal]

"I may not be directly involved with the mafia, but if you think I can't figure out a lie you are dead wrong" [Bryan]

"We can tell you, but you need to promise not to tell dad" [Crystal]

"Ok...is everything ok?" [Bryan]

"We know who gave the anonymous tip to dad...because it was us..." [Atlas]

"I'm sorry, so what I'm getting is that you disobeyed your other father's orders" [Bryan]

"And yet our team figured it out while dad's didn't" [Atlas]

"This isn't something I can just keep from him, you guys could get yourselves killed for what? Just to say you guys did better than him?" [Bryan]

"Then tell him, just not yet, we still have part of our plan we have to complete" [Crystal]

"And what would that be?" [Bryan]

"We plan to follow dad from the shadows, they never found us collecting any of the information, but with everything we did found, there is bound to be a flaw, if dad gets hurt from it we will never forgive ourselves" [Crystal]

"You only plan to keep distance and attack is needed?" [Bryan]

"Yeah, we plan to stay in the vents and only leave if he does something stupid" [Atlas]

"He is going to do something stupid, we all know how he acts, when he does something, what's the plan?" [Bryan]

"Simple, we want him alive, so when he eventually does something, well, a bullet to the arm usually does wonders" [Crystal]

"And you're sure that'll work?" [Bryan]

"No, but we don't have any other choice, we have our own team set up to wait for us, but it'll only be the two of us going in" [Crystal]

"What happens if you aren't needed?" [Bryan]

"Tailgate party, that was going to be our disguise if dad became suspicious" [Atlas]

"He's going to check your locations as soon as he's cleaned up, so I'll let you both help, but as soon as everything is cleared from the building, you both get home and clean up, the longer you guys are there, the more suspicious Inpu will be" [Bryan]

"So you won't tell dad..?" [Atlas]

"No, you guys have clearly thought this out, if I tell Inpu, he'll ground you guys for going behind his back, you were at least honest with me so I'll let it pass, but I can't confirm anything after its over" [Bryan]

"Thank you, we promise to be safe" [Crystal]

"And I expect you to follow the directions I've given you both" [Bryan]

The two of them went back to setting the table and I went back to grab dinner that was left at the door while informing everyone else that dinner was here.
