I take Phoenix to my room. "I told you she'd come back" I say, mocking her. "Shut up" She says smiling. I'm glad she's okay. I was a bit worried as well. I mean I've known her long enough to trust her and care about her.
Everyone kinda lightened up after that. Something still seemed off about Ariadne. Of course she's not gonna be okay in one day but still. "So are you gonna sleep with me, or go back to your room?" I ask. "I'll decide later. We still have a day ahead of us." She says, unsure of what to do.
Phoenix still seems a bit upset about the whole situation. "You should talk to her about it." I say, a sense of seriousness in my voice. "Not today. I don't want her to leave again.." She says, her voice softens. I knew it upset her to talk about it. I knew she didn't want to. Ariadne needed the closure.
I gave her a gentle kiss. "I love you" I say quietly. I hold her tight. "I love you too" She says softly. "I'm gonna go see Ariadne, okay?" She says getting up and leaving. I lay down on my bed. I wasn't tired at all. Sometimes it's really hard to sleep without Phoenix with me.
