POV: Jennifer

"Reece, wait!"

I called out to him, already half way across set. I was sure he wouldn't listen, but to my surprise, he actually stopped and went over to the steps of a house to sit down. As I walked toward him, I saw Colin swiftly making his way back towards me from across the street.

"What the bloody hell is going on?", he asked in a concerned whisper, still in character for the tour I assume.

"I have no idea, but it's probably best if they spend some time apart for a while sooo.... if you could—"

  "Oh no... No way Jen."

"You don't even know what I was going to say!"

"You are gonna try to get me to help you sort this problem out by insisting I go talk to one of them."

"Well... if you insist! Look, I'm already going to  talk to Reece so uh... I guess you can take Savannah. Good talk Colin!"

"Wait— what?"

I attempted to walk past him, but he stopped me before I could get very far.

"Jen I am not going over there... it's none of our business, we should just go along with the plan... To be more specific, the plan that doesn't involve me consoling someone who I haven't even met yet."

"Hey, just think, this will be good bonding time! Listen, just wait until lunch break and then we can regroup... Offer to give her a tour of your ship, I'm sure the ladies love that."

He shook his head as I smiled at him and he couldn't help but raise his eyebrows, smirking as I walked away.

When I had gained enough distance between Colin and I so that he wouldn't be able to complain anymore, I did an about-face and shouted, "Oh yeah, by the way Colin, be nice! It's her birthday!"

He did a quick 180 and I could faintly make out the look of anger and disparity on his face, then I flashed him a big thumbs up and went on my way.

POV: Reece

After Colin and Jennifer finished their conversation, I stood up from the steps and walked over to her.

"Hey, walk with me?" Jen suggested graciously, throwing an arm around my waist.

I proceeded to put my arm around her and together we walked towards Mr. Gold's Pawnbroker shop. I kept glancing over at her periodically, analyzing every detail I could before it was all over.

In the drama of the day, I had totally forgotten what an honor it was to stand 5 feet away from Jennifer Morrison, nevertheless have her walking arm in arm with me, by my side. She caught me gazing at her once or twice and I guess after multiple times of making awkward eye contact, she finally decided to break the silence.

"So... How do you feel about meeting up with Savannah and Colin after lunch break?" asked Jen cautiously, making sure nothing she said would set me off again.

"and Colin? As in ...Captain Hook, is with her?"

"Trust me, she's going to be fine, Colin is the sweetest person I know."

"I've obviously never actually met the guy, but I hear that supposedly he is a real... ladies man, and Savannah Is kind of vulnerable right now so I—"

"Colin actually isn't on the market for anyone right now... Believe it or not, there's a lot of heartache going around here lately."

"You mean Colin had his heart broken?"

I wasn't gonna say anything about it, but Jen sure seemed to be very close with Colin. I couldn't help but wonder if they were something more than friends.

"It happened a little over year ago and it was more of a mutual divorce, but—"

"He was married?!"

"Of course he was married, do you really think guys like Colin walk around single for their whole lives?"

"I don't understand... Colin can get practically anyone he wants... why does he choose to stay single?"

"Because Reece... he loved her"

We arrived at the shop and I opened the door for Jennifer to walk in. I couldn't help but feel bad about my own break up now. I started to question all my actions throughout the whole thing. Did I waste three years of my life? Why did I fall in love with her in the first place... Was I ever really in love with Perri? I mean I didn't think twice about her when I met Jen... but then again, she was my celebrity crush... it was different...

As Jen began showing me around, two more people entered the shop. I then had the chance to meet Robert Carlyle and Emilie De Ravin, better known as Rumple and Belle. After conversing, and getting photos with them, I said thank you for everything and walked out with Jen. I think we only had about five minutes until lunch so we decided to make our way to the food truck parked in front of the trailer area. I figured now would probably be the best time to officially apologize to her for my outburst earlier today.

"Jen,  I'm so sorry again, about everything... If you want us to leave—"

"Reece— It's ok."

Usually when people say something is 'ok' after a big fiasco like that goes down, it's a lie... but things were different with Jen. I felt like she actually meant it... Like I could trust her.

"Are you sure? Because I mean I —"

"Reece... Really... It's ok, I totally get it. I've been through my fair share of relationships that I thought would last forever too. I was actually even engaged once, so I know exactly what you're dealing with... "

We stopped walking and gazed into each other's eyes. At that moment, I felt a connection. Something I had never felt before... not with Savannah, not with Perri, not with anyone.

She drew in closer to me... so close that if I held up a hand, I could probably feel her breath on my skin. She wrapped her arms around me and gave me a warm embracing hug. I never wanted the moment to end. Everything just felt so right when I was with her.

Eventually letting go, she spoke in a soft, angelic voice, "If you ever need someone to talk to... I'm here."

"Thank you Jennifer"
