Chapter 97: Found you

"Well that was a pain in the ass" Bakugo complained having finally sneaked Deku off of UA's main campus without anybody seeing them. They'd had to stop and check around every corner to look for teachers or anyone else that might have been in school. It was a weekend however so hardly anybody was in school apart from the odd teacher and student in the halls. They thought they were done for when they saw principal Nezu but luckily he didn't spot them. Not only that but they'd helped Deku into his Uravity themed hoodie that Uraraka had gotten for him to help hide his face and all of his bandages.

"Yeah no kidding. Midoriya as much as I want to help we are never doing this again. Stealth really isn't my thing it's way too stressful I can still hear my heartbeat" Kirishima said taking a breath of relief.

"Agreed that was way too intense. I thought Mr Aizawa saw us for sure but I guess not. Anyway we're going to have to be stealthy again when we get to Heights Alliance because most people will probably be home and if they see us they'll ask what we're doing. The less people that know about this the better" Deku said grateful for the help but knowing that their job wasn't finished yet.

"Seriously? I thought we were in the clear" Kirishima whined. Deku couldn't help but chuckle at his friend's disappointment.

"No not yet" Deku said with a slight smile on his face although it quickly disappeared thinking back to the way Uraraka had stormed out of Recovery Girl's office and thrown her hoodie on the floor.

"You know what? Screw this. And screw you Deku. I never knew you could be such an asshole"

So are we still together or not? It's kind of hard to tell if that was her dumping me or if she was just mad at me. Understandably so too I was an idiot to think I'd heard the whole conversation I should've asked her about it rather than being so cold and cruel to her. She was so confused about what she'd done wrong and the truth is she didn't do anything wrong I'd just jumped to conclusions and acted foolishly.

"Hey Midoriya we're almost there. Bakugo you scout ahead and check the coast is clear" Kirishima said keeping his voice down in case anybody was close and could hear them.

"Whatever" the blonde replied picking up his pace while Kirishima slowed down pushing Deku along in the wheelchair.

"Hey man are you sure you can do this? It's noble and not to mention insanely manly but dude you look like you're gonna pass out at any second not to mention you seem very stressed out. Do you even know what you're going to say to her?" Kirishima asked.

"I'll be fine Kirishima I just have to find her" Deku said trying but failing to hide the fact that he felt like he was going to pass out soon.

Not yet. I have to apologise first. Gotta stay awake until then.

"Looks like Bakugo is giving us the all clear. Come on let's go" Kirishima said picking up the pace.

Let's go he says. Kirishima I don't know if you've noticed but I'm in a wheelchair for fuc-

"Hold up. We'll go around the back. Better chance nobody will see us that way" Bakugo said stopping Kirishima and taking him in a different direction so they could sneak in through the back door. They managed to get there without being seen and once they did Bakugo took Deku's keys and unlocked the door slowly creaking it open.

"Hello? Anybody home?" Kirishima called out as they entered the kitchen. He didn't get a response.

"I guess she's not here. Where's Eri?" Kirishima asked.

"Probably at her training with Mr Aizawa. She should be back any moment now actually" Deku said. As if on cue there was a knock at the door.

"Shit!" Bakugo whisper shouted.
