"Ochako that's amazing!" Deku exclaimed ecstatic to hear the news that she was giving him, over the phone.

"I know right. Just know that I jumped out of a window, 62 floors up, to get that vial" Uraraka said half jokingly. However the moment she said it she immediately regretted it as she heard Deku's gasp on the other end of the phone.

"You did what!?" he asked completely shocked at what he was hearing.

"Relax, it was nothing" Uraraka said as casually as possible much to Deku's disapproval.

"It doesn't sound like nothing. Why did you jump out of a window that high up?" he asked very concerned about what she'd been getting up to while he was locked up.

"Because I was surrounded by villains and it was the only way out. Would you relax? My quirk is anti-gravity for crying out loud I was fine" Uraraka explained still not seeing what the big deal was. He'd done plenty of things more dangerous than anything she'd ever done.

"I know it's just...what have you been up to Ochako? Please don't tell me you're hunting these people down on your own?" Deku asked worried that she'd gone looking for trouble all by herself.

"What? No Mr Aizawa sent me. It was purely last resort, he was going to do it himself but he had to go on another mission. I promise you I'm not on a one woman witch hunt for this guy, I just helped Mr Aizawa with the investigation" Uraraka insisted trying to reassure him.

"Oh ok. I'm sorry I shouldn't have made such a fuss, it's just... nevermind" Deku said deciding not to say anything to her. However it was obvious something was wrong so Uraraka was instantly worried.

"What? What is it? Did something happen?" Uraraka asked refusing to let the issue rest. If Deku was worried about something she needed to know.

"No nothing happened it's just that... Ochako look if....if I don't make it-" Deku said clearly dwelling on what might happen to him however he never got the chance to finish what he was going to say since Uraraka cut him off.

"You will make it Deku. Do you hear me? We'll have a cure for whatever they've done for you soon, just hang in there ok? I'll get you out of this mess. No matter the cost. I won't let you turn into that monster in your head. I won't allow it. So don't give up on me now Deku. I need you to trust me" Uraraka pleaded her voice wavering a little as she knew what he would've said if she'd let him finish and she refused to hear him say that. Not yet. She wasn't going to give up. However it broke her heart to hear Deku sound so hopeless even though she'd just told him that he could be cured. She waited for a few moments for a response of some sort however she didn't hear anything but silence. She knew he was still there though because the call hadn't been cut off and he hadn't hung up so he could still hear her.

"Deku?" she asked beginning to doubt that he was still there and feeling herself begin to well up but she held it in. If she broke now then there's no way Deku would be convinced.

"I love you" she said trying to get some form of response from him as he continued to remain silent. She bit her lip nervously, holding her breath, awaiting a response. Until finally it came.

"I love you too Ochako. I'll always trust you. So do whatever you have to do. And get me out of here. I believe in you. You've got this" Deku said although she could hear him crying down the phone which made a singular tear fall down her face. However she knew that neither of them were crying tears of sadness, they were tears of joy and relief.

"Thank you. I won't let you down Deku. It's time I saved you for once" she said half jokingly, chuckling a little bit, making Deku laugh as they both wiped away the tears.
