Cedric - Harry Potter part 3

A couple weeks later, three weeks before the last task

"Please Harry. I need to be able to keep Cedric safe" I said.

"Are you mental?" Ron said.

"Wow, jeez, thanks Ron. And, for your information, yes. I'm absolutely mental" I said.

"I told her it's a bad idea. She just don't bloody listen to me." Cedric said.

"Yeah, she's pretty stubborn." Harry said.

"Yeah, you're damn right I am." I said.

"Okay, I'll let you use the cloak for your plan. Just, be careful, alright?" Harry said.

I nodded my head.

Three weeks later, the day of the last task of The Triwizard Tournament

I quickly tossed on the invisibility cloak.

'What am I gonna do' I thought to myself before running into the maze after Cedric. I ran in just in time before it closed.

"Are you here?" Cedric asked.

I grabbed onto his hand. "Yeah, Cedric, I'm right here." I said before we ran off to find the cup.

We took a left turn, then a right turn. We went straight on for a bit before taking another left turn. Several turns later, we had reached the cup. Some vines from the maze grabbed onto Cedric but I quickly used a spell to make them let go.

Harry, Cedric, and I all grabbed onto the cup, and like I had said, it was a port key. The port key teleported us to the grave yard. I decided to take off the cloak and put it away in the back pack I had brought along.

"I thought you were staying hidden?" Cedric said.

"No point in that. The death eaters, they're smart, they would have known I'm here anyway." I said.

"It's exactly how you said. That cup was a port key. But where is the death eater?" Harry asked.

I pushed Cedric against a tree.

"Y/n, now's not really the time" Cedric said.

I slapped my hand over his mouth. "Quiet" I said in a hushed tone. "The death eater is right over there"

"Oh" Cedric said quietly.

"No point in hiding" Peter Pettigrew said.

"Damn it" I said before back away from the tree, Cedric following me.

"Well, Harry Potter. It's been a long time" Voldemort said.

I pulled out my wand, and Harry did the same. I stood in front of Cedric, trying to do my best in order to protect him.

"Kill him" Voldemort instructed Wormtail, pointing towards Cedric.

"Avada Kedavra" Peter Pettigrew said aiming his wand.

"Avada Kedavra" I said, aiming directly at him. The two spells caught, and it was a battle.

"Don't lose against some pathetic girl" Voldemort said.

My eyes glowed green. "I am anything but pathetic you no nosed, ugly, old, wrinkly ass, bald bitch" I said. I pushed with every ounce of strength I had and my spell killed Peter Pettigrew.

"I will not let anyone harm the man I love. Not now, not ever." I said.

I ran over to Harry and pulled him to the side, along with Cedric. I quickly grabbed onto the port key and it took us back to Hogwarts.

We ran out of the maze with the cup in hand.

"And it's a tie between Cedric Diggory and Harry Potter. Hogwarts wins The Triwizard Tournament" Dumbledore said.

Cedric and I both let go of the cup and I just hugged onto him. "Thank Merlin you're alive" I said quietly as I buried my head in his chest.

"I'm only alive because of you love. But, one problem. The ministry is going to know that you used a forbidden curse." Cedric said.

"They'll understand when I say that someone tried to kill someone I care about. It was me defending the one I love. There's nothing wrong with that" I said.

"I suppose, but did you really have to kill him?" Cedric asked.

"Yeah, I did. He deserved to die" I said.

"That shouldn't really have been your decision to make" Cedric said.

"I don't care. You're alive, that's all that matters to me right now" I said.

Cedric nodded. "I love you, so much" He said.

"I love you too. And I can't wait to become yours forever" I said.
