Time Skip
After what seemed like forever, we had finally arrived at an island. I assumed the island was Neverland, in fact there was this small part of me that knew that it was. I breath of relief left my lungs when my feet hit the sand on the beach.
I sat down in the sand. The sun was just starting to rise, and it looked so beautiful so I decided to watch it. I extended my legs out a bit, to where the water just barely brushed up to my ankles. I smiled softly and took a deep breath. Every ounce of me finally felt safe, and calm.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" A voice said.
I turned my head to the side to see a young boy who looked around my age.
"Yes, it is. I assume you're Peter Pan, aren't you?" I asked.
"How'd you know?" He asked me.
"I'm good at noticing details. Your shadow, he brought me here. I asked, and now I'm here." I said.
"You are right." He said. "Tell me, why did you want to come here?"
"Well, Peter, that is a long story" I said.
"We have the time. Trust me" Peter said.
"Well, back where I used to live, it didn't feel like home. I felt trapped. Plus, it was only a matter of time before they realized I could age, so I didn't really fit in anyways." I said.
"Can't age?" Peter asked, a hint of intrigue in his voice.
"Yeah. There was this enchantress, or witch, or something. She put this either gift or curse on me, I don't quite know what it is, I can't really age or die. There's only one specific weapon that can kill me." I said.
"What is that?" Peter asked.
"Now, why would I tell anyone about the only thing in all of the realms that could actually end my life?" I asked.
"Because I asked." Peter said.
"That's adorable, but I don't really trust you yet." I said.
"You're on my island. You can either tell me, or spend all of eternity running from me. You may not be able to die, but I'm willing to bet that you can still feel pain." Peter said.
"Are you seriously threatening me?" I asked.
"I did ask you a question, it's not a complicated question, so just answer it." Peter said.
I pulled the dagger out of my pocket. I took the sheath off of it.
"This, this is the one thing that is able to kill me." I said.
"How do you know nothing else can kill you?" Peter asked.
"I've been shot, stabbed, drowned. None of those killed me. I've been seventeen for three bloody years. I don't think that woman was kidding." I said.
"May I see the dagger?" Peter asked.
I reluctantly handed it over to him, not sure what he was going to do with it. I kept a close eye on him, and the blade, trying to make sure he didn't try to make a move against me with it.
Peter took the blade and examined it. "It does look like quite an interesting blade." He said before handing it back to me.
I nodded my head slightly before taking the dagger back, a little to quickly. I quickly and carefully put the sheath back on it before putting it back into my pocket.
"Not a very trusting person, are you?" Peter asked.
"What gave you that impression?" I asked.
"One, you took that back very quickly, and two, you haven't even told me your name." Peter said.
"Right. Of course. My name is y/n." I said.
"It's nice to meet you. Would you like me to show you around the island?" Peter asked.
I nodded slightly. Peter held out his hand. I took it, with slight reluctance, still not sure if I could trust him yet. He helped me stand up before walking off a bit, pulling me along with him.
It wasn't long before we reached what looked like a campsite. There were at least a dozen boys, some of them looked older, and some of them looked younger.
"This is where we all stay." Peter said.
"Do you ever get bored, or lonely?" I asked.
"No. Not really." Peter said.
A boy, who looked about my age approached me and Peter.
"Pan, who is this?" He asked, a hint of distrust in his voice.
"Felix, calm down. This is
y/n. Y/n, this is Felix." Peter said.I raised my hand up a bit and waived slightly. "Hi" I said in a kind of hushed tone.
"Shy?" Felix asked.
"Not in the slightest. Just socially awkward. But don't for one second think that that means I'm shy and won't hesitate to kick someone's arse if they make a move against me." I said.
"So, you're bold?" Felix asked.
"Quite" I said.
A small smile spread across Felix's face. "I think she's gonna fit around just fine" he said.
Peter nodded his head in agreement. "So do I." He said.
