A/N: Thanks to @bnhafan20 for requesting this one! I hope you enjoy it, love! I'm actually kind of proud of this one.

PROMPT: Tony and Bucky fight over (y/n).

Natasha and I exchanged a look as we sat at the bar sipping on the cocktails she had made for us. After thirty minutes of listening to Tony and Bucky's bickering from across the room, we had decided a strong drink was in order if we were going to stick around for the rest of the evening. The team had decided that it would be nice for all of us to spend some time together, and we had been doing just that this evening. We were gathered in the downstairs rec room where a very competitive game of pool was taking place. Nothing brings a team together quite like a friendly competition. Everything had been going well, and everyone was having fun. That was until either Tony or Bucky had decided to start with the hysterics. Nat and I were both unsure of who had started it, and at this point, it was equally likely that either man was the instigator.

It wasn't news to me or anyone else that both Bucky and Tony had their eye on me. Both men made their interest in me quite clear, and they both flirted with me constantly while we were alone, AND with the team. But tonight was an entirely new level for both of them. Not only had they spent the night trying to out flirt one another, but they were also practically rubbing it in each other's face whenever I gave one of them even the slightest bit of attention.  Eventually, I got fed up with their antics and had joined Natasha at the bar. "Listen to them, they sound like children." Nat criticized as she downed the rest of her drink. I shook my head in agreeance before bringing my glass to my lips. "I know. They sure fight about me a lot for two men who have never actually asked me out." I said with a laugh, causing Natasha to look up at me in surprise. "Neither of them has asked you out yet?! (y/n) this has been going on forever!" Natasha chided me and I could only shrug my shoulders at her.

She brought up a fair point though. Our poor team had been listening to Tony and Bucky fight over me and who I liked better for at least a month now, and I'm sure I wasn't the only person who was becoming agitated with their childish antics. "Why don't you just put a stop to this already?" Natasha asked me as if it had been obvious all along. "What do you mean?" I pushed on, as I sipped my cocktail. "I mean either pick one of them to go out with or reject them both already so this can end" she pouted, dramatically throwing her head down onto the bartop as if to illustrate how miserable this made her. I rolled my eyes at her antics, the last thing I needed to deal with tonight was yet another over-dramatic Avenger. I could still hear Tony and Bucky: their argument growing louder and louder, and from the sounds of it more intense. When Natasha and I finally diverted our attention away from the bar, we were shocked at what we were seeing.

Bucky had grabbed Tony by the throat and thrown him on top of one of the pool tables in the rec room. Tony had managed to summon most of his suit and had a repulsor aimed straight at Bucky's chest, ready to take the shot. Nat and I were off our bar stools and across the room in record time. "Bucky! Let him go!" I cried as I attempted to pry Bucky's metal hand from Tony's throat. "Not. Gonna. Happen. Doll." Bucky spat out from behind gritted teeth. I threw my hands up in frustration and decided to try bargaining with Tony instead. "Tony. Put your hand down." I demanded as I tapped my foot impatiently on the floor. "Not a chance sweetheart," he said, flashing me one of his signature smirks. Suddenly, I had run out of patience. This had been going on for over a month now, and I was finally realizing that I was sick of breaking up fights between the two. "SOMEBODY SEPERATE THEM, NOW! GET THEM OUT OF HERE!" I yelled, my frustration getting the better of me. Steve was quick to grab Bucky and wrestle him out of the room, while Rhodey followed suit and dragged Tony out behind them.

I must have looked every bit as pissed as I felt because before I could even process anything that had happened, Natasha was pressing a drink into my hand. I must have had smoke coming out my ears or something to give me away; she had made it a double. I grumbled a 'thanks' to Natasha as Steve and Rhodey walked back into the room, both of them looking uncomfortable and defeated. I put up a hand to stop both men from opening their mouths. "Whatever they said to you two, I DON'T want to hear it," I growled, not really in the mood for some sloppy, half-assed explanation from each man's best friend. "We put them in their rooms. You know, in case you wanna speak to them." Steve offered, a hint of hope in his voice. I gave Steve a slight smile and thanked him before turning around to face Natasha again. "You should talk to them (y/n). Either pick one of them or don't, but just end this," she advised, and this time I couldn't help but agree. Not only was I tired of listening to the two men argue, but I also couldn't bear to watch it come to violence any longer. Romance aside, I considered both men a close friend, and I couldn't stand to watch them hurt one another.
