Wedding Series: Clint Barton (Part 2)

His Tux 

Clint's tux was light grey and suited him perfectly. You thought that the color brought out his eyes and made them look sharp. Not to mention he looked good in a tux, and it was something you wished he would wear more often, even though you knew it wasn't practical. 

Your Maid of Honor 

Your maid of honor was Natasha. You had known her for many years, and the two of you had bonded through Clint since she was one of his best friends, so naturally, the two of you became close, and she was honored to stand beside you on the big day. 

His Best Man

Clint's best man was Thor. The two often ended up working together often and eventually they got pretty close. Thor was thrilled to support Clint on his big day and was honored to be a part of a Midguardian wedding celebration, something he had never done before. 

Who Walked You Down the Aisle 

Your older brother. Neither of you had a relationship with your parents. He had basically raised you, and was the biggest supporter in your life, besides Clint. It was only fitting that he be the one who gave you away. Naturally, you both cried as he took your hand and placed it in Clints, giving you away, and giving Clint a pat on the back. Naturally, you both pretended that neither of you had been crying the entire time. 

His Reaction

He couldn't contain his big, dorky, smile, no matter how hard he tried. He tried so hard to be cool, but it just wasn't happening. He was even bouncing up and down on his feet in excitement. It was absolutely adorable.

His Thoughts When He Sees You 

"Oh my god. This is actually happening?! THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING!!! I really am the luckiest man on the face of the earth. I'm gonna have a wife! A super beautiful, amazing wife!" 

Your Thoughts When He Sees You 

"I never thought I would make it to this day, or find a man to marry, or be happy. And here I am, getting ready to walk down the aisle to the love of my life, and declare it in front of 200 people, and officially make him mine forever. How lucky am I to get to call this amazing guy my husband? " 

His Vows

"I promise to love and care for you, and to try in every way to be worthy of your love. I will always be honest with you, kind, patient, and forgiving. I promise to love you unconditionally until the end of my days, and beyond. But most of all, I promise to be a true and loyal friend to you. I have always loved you, and I cannot wait for you to be my wife, and you will always be my best friend. I love you y/n."  

Your Vows

"I promise to be not only your wife, but your companion, and friend. Your partner in this wonderful life we have set out to live, in both good times and bad. To always your ally in the conflict, as well as your unwavering and greatest fan and your toughest adversary. I promise to always be your comrade in adventure. I promise to be both your student and your teacher. I will be your consolation in disappointment as well as your accomplice in mischief. This is my vow to you. It is as sacred to me as you are. Clint, you are my equal in all things, and I promise to love you forever more." 

Your Wedding Cake 

To keep with your rustic theme, you and Clint went with a three tier cake that was iced in a way that made it resemble a birch tree. It was unique in its beauty. It was adorned with decorative branches, and fall wildflowers. 

Your First Picture As a Married Couple

This picture was your and Clint's favourite because against all odds, the photographer had captured this moment, which was an honest, yet adorable mistake. You had tripped on the hem of your dress, and Clint was quick to catch you, wrapping a hand around your waist to steady you. You took advantage of the moment by wrapping your arms around his neck, pulling him close for a passionate kiss, with him happily leaning into it and leaving his hand on your waist, with his other hand shoved casually in his pocket. 

Your First Dance Picture

Clint was actually an amazing dancer, and he really didn't mind dancing. So when it came time for your first dance as husband and wife, he was just as excited as you. He spun you away from him in perfect time with the music, and gently spun you back into his arms, before dipping you down dramatically for a kiss at the end of your dance.

Honeymoon Destination

For your honeymoon, you and Clint took some much needed time off and did a one month tour of Spain, somewhere both of you had always wanted to visit, and one of the few places that you had never ended up on a mission together. Through your missions together you always ended up in exciting and beautiful places together, and usually took a day or two off after to explore, but you had never been so lucky to be in Spain long enough to do so. So after your wedding, you decided it was the perfect place to jet off to.
