It was late in the evening when you heard a soft knock on your door. "Hello, my love. I was wondering if you would like to a stroll on the beach with me?" He questioned, pulling back a little bit so that he could look at you properly. "Thor, it's late-" You protested, but he quieted you with a soft kiss. "I promise that it will be well worth your time." He proclaimed eagerly. You shook your head at his antics, placed your hand in his, and followed him out into the hall. The two of you walked in silence, not wanting to wake anyone.
When you finally made it outside, you shuddered slightly when the brisk evening air embraced you, whipping at your exposed skin. You had forgotten to grab a jacket before leaving. It didn't matter, as Thor was quick to notice, and wrapped his own jacket around your shoulders. You smiled up at him and thanked him softly. You continued down a narrow path that you had never taken before; Thor leading the way. "Where are we going?" You questioned him as you giggled and bounded along behind him. He paused briefly and turned around to face you. "To one of my favorite, and very secret places. You'll love it, I assure you." He promised as he stepped forwards and pressed a kiss to your forehead. When you arrived at your destination, you were shocked. It was a beautiful beach that went on for miles, with seawater that was darkened by the moonlight, and a soft sand beach that extended as far as the eye could see. You slipped off your shoes, running down the beach and into the sea, Thor following suit and chasing after you. He picked you up and spun you around, causing you to laugh and squeal with joy.
He carried you back to shore put you down gently on the sand. "Thor, this is- amazing..." You trailed off, lost for words. And then all of a sudden, he spun you around to face him. "y/n my dear, you are the most important person in my life, the most beautiful, kind, and selfless person I had ever known. I wish to never have any secrets with you and to share everything in my life with you. I want to share the rest of my life with you-" he trailed off as he dropped down to one knee in the sand. "Will you marry me?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at the end of his question. You shouted with joy, jumping around on the beach, squealing out a "yes!" before jumping into his arms.
