Wedding Series: Clint Barton (Part 1)

How He Proposes 

Every Saturday, you and Clint backed up a basket of your favorite snacks, dessert, and wine, and went on a small hike to your favorite spot on Clint's property. It was at the top of a beautiful hill, and you could see miles and miles of the farm's beautiful and vast property. It was always one of your favorite moments during the week, and both you and Clint always looked forwards to it. Just like every Saturday that the two of you came up here, the view was incredible. It was later in the evening, and the sun was slowly starting to set. You flopped down on the ground, tired after a long day. "Always worth the hike" you sighed, covering your eyes with your hand to shield your eyes from what was left of the sun. Clint chuckled lightly, but he seemed distracted. Now that you thought about it, something had been off with Clint all day. You had asked him, but he brushed it off. You knew better than to push the issue, when he was ready to talk, he would. The two of you laid snacking in silence before you got up to take pictures of the sunrise over the hill. When you turned around, Clint was down on one knee in the grass. "Oh my god..." you whispered. That explained his odd behavior today. "Will you marry me? he blurted out. "Of course, I will Clint," you said with tears in your eyes. 

Your Ring 

Your ring was a beautiful oval diamond, with a halo of smaller diamonds around it, and a diamond band. It was absolutely exquisite, and you were still in disbelief of it. You were usually a simple person and hardly ever wore jewelry, and Clint knew this. When you asked him why he chose a ring that was so ornate (as much as you were in love with it), all he said was that you deserved it.
