"- Bloody- son of a- hellspawn- bastard- ahhhhhh!" Alysha yelled, slamming the front door of the L'Ange home behind her.

"Hey, hey, hey, what's with the shouting?" Rachel called out, coming towards the kerfuffle from the kitchen.

"Everything!" Alysha bellowed.

Rachel recoiled at the sound, scrunching up her face. "Don't talk to me like that. Calm down, you're better than this."

Alysha screwed up her face like she wanted to bite back, clenched her fingers and angrily gestured once with her arms before dropping them and letting it go. "Fine." She gave Rachel a strained look. "Families. Who would have them, eh?"

Rachel rolled her chair closer. "Do you want to tell me about it?"

Alysha sighed. "No, not really." She paused, stepping towards Rachel, looking at her with strange eyes. "... You know I'm not your daughter, right?"

Suddenly Travis appeared, running down the stairs in a flurry. "Alysha! Alysha! I have news! We saw her in the park! Nyx- we saw her, when I was out with Abby. She's alright! She said she'd come see us this week!"

"Really?" Alysha started, making a move to action. "Where? Can you show me?"

"It was just the park down the road. She's fine-"

"Show. Me." Alysha said sternly, laying her hands on his shoulders and staring intensely into his eyes.

Travis swallowed and nodded. "Okay."

She let him go and get his coat.

There were more feet on the stairs and then Selene appeared. "I'm coming to." She ran down and stood beside Alysha. " She's my little sister too. And you gave me my eyes back. I want to help you both."

"You're perfectly welcome." Alysha graciously accepted. "I'd expect nothing less."

"Nick will likely go out and search the area once the sun is down." Travis said, pulling on his boots. "But we can definitely make a start. Come on!"

He opened the door and the other two followed him out into the street.
