Chapter 24: How did JErza happend? (FLASHBACKS)

12 YEAR OLD ERZA P.O.V

I'm kinda nervous, I am going to a new school. And how they say, new school, new life.

I entered my classroom and saw everyone staring at me. I entered the room shyly and introduced myself in front of the classroom.

"My name is Erza. It's a pleasure to meet you all."

The teacher nodded and told me to sit down next to a girl called Mirajane. I sat next to her, she was at my left, and I said hi shyly. She just glared at me.

But, in front of me, was a boy with blue hair and when he turned around to introduce himself, I saw that he had a red birth mark on his right eye. He said "Hi, my name is Jellal Fernadez, and you are Erza, right?"

I nodded with a quiet "uh hum." He smirked and turned around.

~Weeks after~

"I'm the fastest in here and you know it Erza!" Mira and I were discussing as always.

"Oh yeah?! How much you wanna beat?!"

We both growled at each other and started fighting, as always.

And Jellal would still be staring at me. We didn't talked a lot though.

~On my way home~

I was waling home by the sidewalk and was humming a song. I then heard footsteps and turned around to see Jellal.

"Jellal?" I asked.

"Yeah, what's up?" He asked.

"Are you, following me?"

"No, it just seems that we live close from each other."

"Oh." I replied.

He then walked towards me and said "I can't help but think about your name."

"My name?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, your just Erza, right?"

"Uh hum." I replied with a nod.

"Why don't I give you a last name?"

"Huh? Why?"

"Because, everyone must have one. Why don't we call you, Erza Scarlet?"

I looked at him shocked and thought "Why? Why would he give me a last name?"

I nodded and thought again "Scarlet? Scarlet, Erza Scarlet. I love it!"

I then nodded happily with an eyes closed smile and he did too. I then thank him and we walked home.

After that day, we began to know each other. He met my mother and father, my parents loved him as part of the family. We might not still talk that much, though, but we are good friends and like to talk to each other.

16 YEAR OLD JELLAL P.O.V

It was morning, and I was walking to school and thinking of what had happened to Erza yesterday.

FLASHBACK

JELLAL'S P.O.V

Erza came into the classroom, and I couldn't help but to look at her. She was so beautiful. But, her eyes, her eyes seemed depressed somehow. I tried to talk to her but she ignored me or just looked down at the floor sadly. I couldn't help myself but ask, but, it was useless unless she looked at me or answered me.

At lunch, I heard many rumors about her. A bunch of girls and guys were sitting on a table talking about Erza while she was just somewhere at school.

"Hey, what's wrong with Erza?" I asked the bunch of girls and guys until a girl looked at me and said "Didn't you hear?"

"Her parents died dude." A guy finished the girl's sentence.

I just looked at him shocked and grabbed his collar and said "What?"

"Hey, whoa there. That's what happened, it ain't my fault, ya know?" He said calmly but scared at the same time.

I let him go and a shy girl said "H-her parents had a car accident and couldn't be saved."

I looked down sadly and said "I can't believe that this happened to her. Erza, I wonder how are you feeling now."

ERZA'S P.O.V

I was walking alone on the school's hallway. I was sobbing with tears going down my cheeks. I couldn't help but just let the tears go. I couldn't hold them anymore. I was rubbing my arms and walking slowly.

Then the bell rang and it was time for the next class. So I rubbed my eyes and cleaned the tears away.

~After school~

ERZA'S P.O.V

It was time to go home, but, before that, I went to the park and sat down at a bench. My parents had died yesterday, at Sunday, they were coming from there date. It was there anniversary's date. I really wish that they could be by my side right now.

I putted my legs up to my chest with my arms wrapped around my legs. It was cold, since it was getting dark. But I just stood there, crying and sobbing for my parents death.

JELLAL'S P.O.V

I had gone to a cake shop. I had bought a strawberry cheesecake for Erza.

I was walking through the park, at night, I was holding the cake's box on my right hand until I saw Erza sitting on the bench shivering. I looked at her crying, sobbing, and I could see her eyes in pain. I had felt that pain, your parents death is the worst thing that could ever happen. When I was about 14 years old, my parents were killed at an assault on a mall. They were trying to protect the others.

Anyways, I walked slowly towards Erza. And she looked up at me with her eyes full of tears. I then said "Erza, are you ok?"

She then shook her head and hid her face with her legs. (She was sitting with her legs up to her chest).

I then said, sounding serious, "Erza, I... I got you some cake."

She looked at me and blushed. I laughed a little and said "I know that you love these, and I hope that you share with me some of it."

Erza laughed and I thought "She laughed, hmph, her laugh is beautiful."

I then gave it to her and she put her legs down and I put the box on her legs.

I gave her a fork. She opened the box and we began eating the cheesecake. Her tears were fading and her smile was rising.

After we finished eating, I looked at her and said "I'm sorry for your parents."

She nodded with a "Uh hum."

I then smirked and I could see her tears again. She then hugged me as she cried on my shoulder. I was shocked. I then, shocked, put slowly my hands on her head and back. She held me tighter as I rubbed her hair as she cried. And as she sobbed I heard her say "A-Arigato, Jellal."

I smirked. She then looked at the floor blushing as I just looked around. She kissed my cheek and I blushed a little.

We then both walked to her house. It was pretty awkward though, I gave her my jacket and she blushed.

We then got to her house. I then left to mine.

Believe it or not, after that. We started dating and all. We might had been pretty shy about it but we dated. No one knew until a guy accidentally pushed me as I was talking to her and I ended up on Erza's lips.
