Chapter 141

Hitomi looked around the group in search of JiU to no success. 

"Has anyone seen JiU ah?"

The group looked around, shaking her head.

"She said she'd go on a walk for a little bit. She wanted to find something." Eunbi responded.

"How long ago did she leave?"

"As soon as we settled down."

"I see. Do you know what she's looking for?"

"A really cute animal."

Everyone turned to the source of the voice, spotting JiU walking with her hands cupped. 

"It's like an axolotl, but cuter."

The girls huddled around, screaming in joy as they looked at the small creature.

"His name is Bread."

Hitomi's eyes lit up as the small axolotl-like creature locked eyes with her.

Yujin giggled, "I think it likes Hitomi unnie."

JiU stuck her hands out.

"You can have him."

Hitomi took the small amphibious creature into her hands, smiling as it continued to look up at her.

 Wait- I was looking for JiU ah because I had questions...

"JiU ah."

"Yes?"

"I have a question."

"Is it an important one?"

"It pertains to a bad feeling I've been getting."

"Go ahead."

"Has Y/N ssi's body changed?"

"Yes, it's missing an arm."

The group laughed at JiU's snarky reply.

"I mean, is there something... supernatural about him?"

"Not right now."

"That insinuates that something could happen."

"You are right. Something could happen."

"Could you explain?"

"Because Y/N oppa had a surplus amount of flow enter his body, there's a chance that, because of the tie, he might be able to produce his own flow now. If he could, it would start off as a very small amount. This would naturally grant him the ability to do some extraordinary things, but the downside is that if he were to exhaust his flow, he would die." 

The group gasped as they murmured amongst one another.

"That would obviously be a problem, because we don't know if he'd be able to control his use of flow. If he can't, then there's a chance he could randomly kill himself."

"You can teach him though... Right?" Eunbi reasoned.

"Of course I can, but it's just a matter of do I feel like it?"

"I would like you to." 

"We'll see."

"How likely is this to happen?"

"Uh... I'm not sure. I guess, like... a fifty percent chance?"

Yena gasped, "Could that happen to Yuri ah and I?! What about Chaewon??"

"I can't say for sure. Ties are very unpredictable."

Hitomi furrowed an eyebrow, "You can't tell?"
