𝖂e stayed together in the room for a while, not caring for anything else but each other, because we knew once we left this room, the world goes back to normal. Nobody else would know about us, we couldn't be together in public, we couldn't be together the way we both wanted to be. Atleast not yet.

We walked back to the common room together, our pinkies intertwined with each other under the cuffs of our sleeves, avoiding other people in the hallways. Approaching the gryffindor common room, he paused glancing around for any sign of people, before planting a delicate kiss on my forehead, embracing me quickly whilst no one else was around.

"We pretend everything is normal, until we're ready, yeah?" He whispered, resting his forehead on mine, savouring the moment between us before we faced reality again.

"Yeah" I mumbled, swallowing thickly when he rubbed our noses together, affectionately. He smiled, leaning back and saying the password to the fat lady who smirked knowingly at the both of us.

Entering, we saw Remus, Sirius and Peter rested on the couches facing the fire deep in discussion about something.

"Think about it though Moony, what if we were just in someone's imagination, like a book or something" We heard Sirius proclaim, Peter nodding in agreement.

"That's ridiculous, we are real life people" my brother argued, shaking his head at the other two. James and I exchanged a glance, before stepping further in, taking a seat beside each other on the other couch.

"We've been waiting for you two. Where have you been?" Peter questioned, noticing our presence in the common room. We have a map, the room of requirements doesn't show up on the map.

"Lunes wasn't feeling too well so we went to Madame Pomfrey for a bit" James answered for the both of us, Peter nodding, Sirius eyeing us suspiciously before nodding slowly. We had the map, they couldn't have known where we were.

"You okay now, El?" My brother asked, his honey eyes laced with concern as he scanned over my figure.

"Yeah, just a bit of a headache now" I replied, smiling at him, "what were you all talking about?" I quizzed, listening to Sirius' theory, watching as Remus argued with him calling it 'nonsense'.

I noticed James' hand gradually slipping closer towards me, making me cross one leg over the other to hide it as I placed my hand down on top of his. Keeping his eyes trained forward on our friends, he intertwined our fingers, the butterflies in my stomach going wild.

"So, Luna what do you think?" Peter inquired, snapping me out of my daze.

"Hm? Oh yeah, I think that we could be living as a character is someone's story, yeah" I nodded, Sirius and Peter throwing their hands up in triumph, my brother rolling his eyes.

"Prongs?"

"What? Oh I agree with Lunes, but I think we are the main characters" He responded, squeezing my hand, "A book about the Marauders, it would be the best book in the world"
