It was like world around you and him froze. Eunji was blinking between you both, her expression neutral but it could be seen that she was on the happy side while you felt numb, it suddenly started hurting the moment your eyes met. The pain was moving through your viens like a drug, its slowly taking over all your senses numbing out all rational thoughts.

You couldn't ponder on why it was hurting or what actually hurt you.

Were you sad that he was dating someone else? Or were you sad because he didn't even bother to tell you about it? Why would he even? Was this the reason why he totally ignored you? Suddenly everything started to make sense. The late texts, the distance between you too, everything was because of Eunji.

He cared about her more than he ever did about you or your friendship, ofcourse anyone would choose someone else than you because you meant nothing. You were practically a poor orphan, with so many burdens stored as a luggage? Did you seriously dream that one day Jungkook was going to fall for you too? Absolute bullshit.

People said getting hurt in love was worse, losing someone who was yours was the most unexplainable pain but you just lost someone who wasn't even yours what do they call you? What was the name for freaks like you? You felt nauseous, liquid clogged up your throat at the sight so you prepare your feet to turn around and run as far as you can. It was tearing you apart, the confidence and strength you held onto was slowly yet the impact was hurting.
