Tres semanas después de los acontecimientos del Blip, Kelyani y Clara desaparecen, al igual que el pueblo de Wetview. Varios instituciones, entre ellas el FBI y SWORD se aliaran para buscar respuestas. Uno de los que más se encuentran involucrados es Iham Fanisbane, quien siente una cierta admiración por la hechicera, por lo que accede ayudar a la investigación.
