Reverser: Part 2

"What did you give him?" Mari asks and I explain to her the situation which she jumps on board with. Near the end of the school day, Marinette, Marc, and I were watching him read the book on the other side. "Do you think he likes it?" Marc asks nervously and Marinette nods excitedly. "Of course he does. Look at his face!" "It's rude to spy on people," Adrien suddenly says and we turn around to see him giving us a mischievous smirk. "It's not what you think at all. It's just gonna be Nathaniel's birthday soon and we were planning on giving him a disguise- surprise," Mari tries to explain to him and he gives us a wink.

"Cool. Very typical of you two. Let me know if you need any help." "Sure won't- will!"Mari lets out a groan as Marc asks "You're just as shy as I am aren't you?" "Just with him," I giggle as Marinette tells Marc "Just do as I say not as I do," After school, I wait outside for Nathaniel who comes up to me looking around cautiously. "So what did you think?" I ask and he gives me a smile. "It's amazing but how did you get this?" "From the author. Are you willing to meet them?" "Is it who I think it is?" He whispers to me and I shrug.

"Maybe? That depends on who you're thinking of and I don't wanna ruin the surprise." "Ok," He starts to hand back the notebook and I shake my head. "You keep it, you can give it back to the author in person." "Really?! This is almost too good to be true! In fact, it is too good. Is this some kind of prank (y/n)?" He asks me, suddenly getting very suspicious. "Of course not. You'll meet the author at the Place des Vosges Square Fountain. I have no doubt in my mind that you won't be disappointed," I head home with Mari and we go to the roof, using her camera to zoom in to see how the meet-up would go. Marc was already there waiting and we get excited when we see Nathaniel arrive. "Final phase of Operation Comicbook," Mari squeals happily as we watch Nathaniel approach Marc. However, it doesn't seem to end well as we see Nathaniel glaring at us before telling Marc something and ripping his notebook to shreds before storming off. "Uh oh. Operation Comicbook seems to have hit a snag."

I instantly start rushing downstairs to go see what happened. When I get down there though it looked as though Hawkmoth had beaten me to him because he looked to be made out of black and white paper while flying on top of a paper airplane. "Marc..." I trail off and he sends me a glare. "I'm not Marc anymore. I am Reverser! You caused all this (y/n)! You think you're so helpful to everyone, don't you? Well from now on, everyone will hate you!" A paper airplane forms in his hand and he throws it at me shouting "Reversion!"

I duck and the paper airplane hits Mr. Ramier, causing all the pigeons to attack him before flying off with him chasing after them. "Marc! No, I didn't plan for this to happen, I was honestly just trying to help!" I try to plead with him and he prepares to throw another paper airplane. "Liar! You told Nathaniel I was someone else!" Before he could throw it, we hear a whistle and turn to see Officer Roger who demanded for vehicle registration. Surprise, surprise he was reversed into a criminal and I take this opportunity to run away and hide so I could transform. (Y/N)!!!" He shouts as he flies off as I mutter "I guess Nathaniel thought he was Ladybug I should've told him it was a work of fiction. I have to fix this. Flaake Freeze!" 

When I catch up with him I find Ladybug already on the scene avoiding Reverser's paper airplanes before being taken on a joyride because she had tied her yoyo around his wrist. I chase after them, ready to catch her if need be. Eventually, we arrive at the Pont des Arts bridge where Reverser attacks a bicyclist by making him not remember how to ride a bike. Quickly LB lets go and saves him from falling into the river and I grab his bike. While the guy was thanking Ladybug Reverser takes this chance to hit her. I jump out of the way of the other one and watch as Ladybug throws her yoyo, it ricocheted off the bridge and hit her, causing her to tumble over a bench. This just got a lot more difficult, where's Chat when you need him?

"Like your new role Lady-clutz?" Reverser mocks thankfully before he could even try to get close to her Chat finally arrives on the scene. "Awesome costume. Too bad we'll have to tear it up. Everything ok M'lady?" He says before checking up on Ladybug who at this point was struggling to stand. "So you think you're brave Chat Noir? From puss to wuss. Refersion!" The paper airplane is easily dodged. "Ooo, I'm so scared. C'mon you two lets wrap this up," He humps onto the railing preparing to charge at him when LB and I yell at him to wait, LB tripping over the bench, distracting Chat long enough to get hit.

He jumps back on the bridge in fear. "Whst's up kitty? Got virtigo?" Chat Noir starts clinging to me and I couldn't get him off in time before I was hit with a reversion as well, causing me to stumble back into Ladybug and the three of us fall off the bridge into the River Seine, where the three of us struggle to get back onto land, mainly because we had to help Ladybug swim.
