Desperada: Part 4

Once Luka was done transforming Chat Noir runs up. "Just in time, Chat Noir I'd like you to meet," Ladybug starts to introduce him when he finishes the sentence for her. "Viperion, can't wait to work with you," After introductions, we discuss how we should go about this ultimately deciding to use the yo-yo's camera to figure out where Desperada was before re-surfacing. "Perhaps you would've preferred a lucky horseshoe for your first mission," Chat jokes around since LB's lucky charm was a horse saddle and Ladybug holds in a snort. "Chat..." "No need, Ladybug brings enough luck for all of us," Viperion says, handing her lucky char, back.

"Desperada's at the top of the Eiffel Tower, let's take her advantage point away from her," Ladybug tells us before we run down some tunnels, and Ladybug comments about needing Chat's cataclysm. He nods, activates his power, and cataclysms the wall, causing the tower to cave in, and creating a dust cover for us as we re-surfaced. "All her weapons come from her guitar case, we have to prevent her from using them and then destroy the case. Ready?" Viperion activates second chance and the four of us rush at her, avoiding her shots. Ladybug grabs her wrist with her yoyo and Chat and I go to attack from above when she swings Ladybug into us and shoots us-

We were about to run out when Viperion grabs my wrist. "Wait," He tells us what happened and we try a different approach. I threw my knives at her, catching her attention while LB tries to attack from above but she was quickly got by the guitar ax-

Once again we're told the last outcome and this time Chat Noir keeps Desperada occupied and Ladybug wraps her yoyo around Desperada's wrist and points her hands down, I go to freeze her hands with ice storm but she starts shooting her trumpets, blocking me from seeing her before I get hit-

This time Viperion just wanted to watch while we just fought Desperada, within a few minutes we hear a tune from a Lyre start to play, distracting Desperada to the point we could hit her with our weapons-

"Wait this time I know what to do," Viperion tells us before we charge out. He tells us his plan before getting to high ground and starts playing his Lyre, distracting her while I threw my knives, knocking the trumpets out of her hands. Ladybug uses her yoyo to hold one of her hands and Viperion jumps down and entangles her other hand in the Lyre. I use ice storm to freeze her feet in place while Chat slides underneath to place the saddle and I take away the ice so she could be forced to sit. Chat Noir throws the case to Ladybug who breaks it and does her whole de-evilization process. "Pound it!" We take off and hide so Viperion could de-transform. "Thank you for trusting me," He says as he hands the miraculous back. "It made sense, you were the right choice."

We meet back up on Liberty and we all just start having fun rocking out when Jagged apologizes to Vivica for overacting and firing her, offering her job back on the condition she gets her own breakfast. I spot Kagami smiling fondly at Adrien and I feel my suspicions arising again so I slink over to her and ask. "So it seems you and Adrien have gotten a lot closer recently. I understand if it's none of my business but are you and Adrien a thing now?" "If you mean to ask if we are dating then the answer is yes. Adrien asked me out after our last fencing class. But please keep it on the down low, we don't want our relationship to be public just yet," I let out a small squeal as I hug her. "Of course! I'm so happy for you two," My gaze shifts to Marinette who was watching Adrien, I hope she wouldn't take it too hard when she found out.

The shoe wraps up to an end and Jagged and Vivica start to pack up their things when I notice Luka was giving a downcast look at mom and Jagged who were hugging goodbye. Walking up I grab his hand and lightly squeeze it, asking, "Luka, what's wrong?"  He glances at me before giving me a small smile and leads me off the boat and underneath a bridge soon stating, "If you listen there's a song in the water. I found out that if you listen very carefully under this spot on the bridge, you'll hear a melody," I listen closely and in fact hear a calming melody. "When I can't deal with something at the moment, I come down here and the melody of the water would console me," He says before closing his eyes and swaying to the melody and I ask in worry, "I can see why but what's bothering you?" He looks at me before sighing as he grabs my hand and explains. "It's my mom...I feel like she keeps secrets from me and my sister like today we just learned that she knew Jagged Stone and not even that worked with him. I always knew she played with some celebrity because she's mentioned some of her work but she would never say why. I asked her earlier why she and Jagged stopped working together but she just changed the subject. It feels like I can't ask her anything about certain topics."

"Really? She always seems so open around you and Juls," I say and he shakes his head. "There are some things she won't tell us like who our dad is. I never knew who he was, but mom can never bring herself to tell me, she usually avoids the topic no matter how many times I ask and I get tired of not knowing, getting tired of surprises from mom's past that she never told me and Juleka, it makes me feel like I don't even know my own mom..." He frowns down at the water while I give him a worried look, it was clear this bugged him for a while and he was tired of the secrecy, he always did care a lot about the truth and fully believed it should never be forced out of someone. Yet all I could find myself able to do to help console him was envelop him in a tight hug.
