**YOUR POV**
Today was the day of the funeral. We were all getting ready to leave in a bit. The house was quiet, everything hitting us all again today.

I got dressed in a black blouse, a pair of long, black, wide legged pants and heeled boots, wearing my hair tied up in a ponytail.

I went to see if Harry was ready, walking into his room as he stood in front of the mirror, tucking his shirt in.
I walked up to him from behind as he put his blazer on.

„Hey, are you ready?" I placed my hand on his shoulder, looking at him through the mirror.

„Yeah." He nodded, turning around to face me.

I looked at him, tightening his tie a little bit, straightening it out. „You look good, babe."

„Thanks, you too." He placed his hands on my hips and leaned in to press a kiss on my forehead, his lips staying there for just a few seconds longer. „I was thinking of...not wearing the brace today. I don't wanna wear it at the funeral and I don't want people to see it and get all the attention."

I nodded understandingly. „Whatever's more comfortable for you, Haz." I kissed his lips. „As long as you'll be okay? And feel comfortable?"

„I will." He assured me with a little smile. „Alright, are we ready to go?" He gently ran his hand down my arm.

„Yeah, I just need to get my purse." I nodded, walking out of the room and over to mine where I left it, the first thing I saw when I looked up being a framed picture of Robin and me on the day Harry and I auditioned for the X-Factor. One look was enough for me to break down in tears. It finally all sank in and I couldn't stop crying. I fell down on my knees, burying my face in my hands.

„Have you seen my phon-." Harry came walking in behind me. „Hey baby, my darling, what is it?" He got on his knees next to me, placing a hand on my back. „What's wrong, my love?" He asked calmly.

I looked up at him, my eyes filled with tears. „He's gone." I cried and Harry instantly pulled me into his arms. „I can't believe he's gone. He's really gone."

„I know, baby. He is and I hate it. I'd give everything to change that." He ran his hand up and down my back. „Let it out, my love. You haven't before and I know you're hurting inside. I know how much you loved him."

„When I got sick the first time, he was always there...always. He always put a smile on my face even when I felt miserable. He was the dad I never had...and now he's gone." I cried into his shoulder. „Life is so unfair."

„It is, I know. He didn't deserve that." He whsipered. I could tell he was close to tears by the way his voice broke a little. „

„Sorry, I don't know what came over me." I sobbed.

„You don't have to be sorry, my love. You lost someone incredibly close to you. You're emotional just like I am and that's okay." He kissed the top of my head.

I nodded against his shoulder. „It just hurts."

„It does...but we're in this together."

I nodded again.

„Do you want to get up?" He asked, rubbing my back.

„Yeah, we need to go." I pushed myself off the floor, grabbing Harry's hand to help him up.

As he stoood in front of me, he hugged me tightly and wiped my tears off my cheeks before he handed me a tissue.

„Thanks."

„Ready to go?" Harry asked, soothingly rubbing my back.

I dried the last few tears that were on my cheeks. „Yes, let's go. Here's your phone by the way. You were looking for it."

„Thanks, lovie. Come on." He slid his hand in mine as we walked out, waiting for Gemma and Anne before we headed to the location of the funeral.

*

The funeral was heartbreaking. It was incredibly hard for all of us, the whole family. Harry and I tried our best not to lose it completely just for the sake of Anne. Harry held my hand through all of it. It was probably one of the hardest things we had to go through.

After the funeral, most of the family members and guests came over to Anne's house to keep some company and show some support.

I watched Harry talking to some of his cousins and uncles, catching up a bit since they haven't seen each other for a while.
I didn't really feel like talking, so I went outside and sat down on the porch, spending some time alone with my thoughts.
Some tears fell again as I thought of all the memories from when we were younger. They were sad but also happy tears as I thought of all the beautiful moments we had as a family.

„Lovie?" I heard Harry's beautiful voice after the glass door opened behind me. „Everything alright?" He placed himself next to me.

I nodded, leaning against his shoulder and he laid an arm around my waist. „Yeah, just needed some time away from all the noise and people."

„I needed to get away as well to be honest. They all keep asking about my back. I hate the attention." He admitted.

„They care about you, H. That's why they're asking." I nudged him in his side a little.

„Yeah, yeah, but still. Today isn't about me, it's about honoring Robin."

„That's true." I sighed, scooting closer to Harry.

„You know what, come with me. I know where we can go to get away from all of this and just be by ourselves." He stood back up, holding his hand out for me.

I grabbed it and got up on my feet a little confused. „We can't do that, Haz. Anne will kill us."

„She won't. She actually suggested for us to leave for a while."

„Really? You're not making this up?" I asked to be sure.

„I'm not. I wouldn't just leave her alone like that." He promised.

„Alright then. Where did you want to go?"

„Somewhere very familiar. A place we both love and always have loved." He slid his hand in mine so I just followed him.

It didn't take long for me to understand where we were going as we approached the little park we were at yesterday, walking along the oh so familiar fields, towards the small pond where Harry and I went not only back then, but also almost a year ago before we got back together and he took me to Manchester for the first time in years.

It was the place where we sat in the grass, talking until late at night as we watched the stars, the night we shared that one kiss that was like a firework and I knew I still loved him so dearly. It was the night I hurt his feelings for the sake of protecting him from Mason, which I failed to do so in the end.

Harry led us to that exact same spot and sat down in the grass again before I placed myself right next to him.

„And this time, no lying and no hiding our feelings for each other. This time we're here to only love each other and just be there for each other." Harry said, taking off his blazer and gently laying it over my shoulders, as he realized I was getting cold and didn't have a jacket with me.

„Sounds beautiful to me." I agreed, leaning against him when he placed an arm around my waist to pull me in.
