Thoughts: I find the first chapter to be exciting. You can tell that the family is good but at the same time, you can tell that the father and the daughter don't have like the best relationship. The way the author wrote that it was smooth like I didn't see anything wrong with it. The story flows nicely; I'm not a big fan of the cover. It could be a little better, but it's nice for what it's worth. The daughter has a big imagination, and the father doesn't like that. But it does show the struggle of being a child to a father who never lets you have that freedom to express yourself. The author did pinpoint that perfectly. It's a cute story, don't get me wrong, but for me, it's not my cup of tea. I feel like there could be more to the story, or it could be better. To me, it just feels like a story about a child with a big imagination, which isn't a bad thing.
Having a big imagination and wanting that big imagination to do other things or to make a world of your own is fantastic. But for me, it just gives me more questions than enjoyment. Is this based on Supernatural, or is this based on just a girl's imagination, and then you give me a doll? Is the doll a  real doll because she talks about wanting or telling her to speak, or is she not? I have more questions, and I have answers. And for me, I don't want to read a story where I feel like I'm just going to have time to questions over answers. Besides that, the story is unique. It's exciting and has a perfect start for me, though it's just not my cup of tea, and I'm not saying this: it's not a cup of tea for everybody. There might be some people who enjoy stories like this, but I feel like I'm more confused than I am wanting to dig deeper into the story.
