How To Survive Murder

Creativity:15 /15
I think the story is unique because of how the author did it. Like offering a prize to find who murdered your sibling is definitely something I've not read. Usually, stories about murder it's either somebody was murdered, and they hire a detective, or they find a way to get to the murderer through manipulation and mind control. But the way that this author did it is very interesting.

Originality:15 /15
I don't think I've read a story similar to this, so I will say that it's one of a kind. And it's so good.

Storytelling:15 /15
I find the storytelling to be engaging because you read through different points of you. You start with Selena, then go to Caleb, and you get to know their backstories. Why do they want this money so badly? I think they genuinely need help.

Character: 15/15
I can relate to these characters so much it's sickening. I'm not saying sickening in the wrong way; I can understand the girl and her alcoholic mother and just wanting to be free from her. But I can also understand the overly protective brother who's just trying to look out for his sister and family. But he also has so much on his shoulders.

Story Flows: 10/15
Now as you can see I've highlighted what I feel does it make sense. I noticed that there was a capital D, and then there was don't, and I wasn't sure if that's how it was supposed to be or if that was a typo.

Other than that, everything flowed very nicely, and everything was phenomenal. I will point out that there was a chat that I snapped to put on here but didn't. And that's because you said that the mother was drunk when she was texting, which cleared up that confusion for me.

Cover Design:10 /15
I'm not too fond of the cover, but I don't hate it either. The cover is unconflicted. You could do better with the cover, but I don't know what would bring out this story. You would have to dabble in it, but I feel like the cover it has on now is not the right cover.

Final Thoughts: 10/10
I appreciated the story and the way that the author wrote it. It is a story filled with mystery and Beauty, but it also has a lot of sadness because you don't want the story to end up being that the murdered person doesn't get Justice. But I feel like there will be Justice at the end of the story in the game they're playing. I give kudos to the author. I think the story is a chef's kiss. This story needs a little TLC for editing, but it will be amazing once you get the perfect cover and finish the story. I hope that it gets all the reads that it deserves.

Summary of the book:

All Selina wants is to leave her town in London to pursue University in America. Penny, Selina's best friend informs Selina of a snazzy, new competition. Winning prize - £150,000! Could this be the answer to Selina's dilemma? Caleb hates Jeremey Everest with a burning passion. However, it is important to note that Jeremey Everest is in fact dead. After the tragic murder of Jeremey Everest and his older sister Fiona, last year, the lime light is always on the Everest family. Caleb wants to escape this torture. After entering a mysterious competition, Caleb hopes to leave London for good. Competition, hmm? Now, what exactly does that entail? A singing competition you may ask. Or maybe even a dance contest. Caleb and Selina manoeuvre this strange competition and discover that everything is not as it seems.
