Girl Meets New Love

Chapter 3

Sabrina's POV:

Rowan fell asleep within minutes of the show being on.
I didn't mind it.
In fact, I loved it.
I loved holding her peaceful body, hearing her muffled snoring into my stomach.
I binge watched almost half a season before I passed out in the middle of an episode.

I naturally woke up to the sun peeking it's way into the window.
I smile down at Rowan still asleep.
I reach up and grab my phone off the pillow above my head and check the time:
6:30am
Tuesday, December 7th

Corey F: Goodmorning sunshine☀️
Momma: hi honey we really miss you. everyone keeps asking when you'll be home. Do you know if you get a break for xmas? I really hope so I miss my baby girl❤️

Oh yeah. So I forgot to say..
Corey admitted to liking me not too long ago. He knows about me and Bradley, but since we're not official he told me. I mean he does have a point.
I'm not with anyone so I'm still single.

But I'm not sure I want to be with Bradley or Corey.
I mean yeah Brad and I flirt some, but I haven't recently.
And yeah Corey and I have had our moments and people think we're secretly dating, but I don't see myself with either of them.
I'm not sure how Rowan feels with THIS, but if I'm gonna be with anyone I want it to be her.

I put my phone back and lightly shake Rowan awake saying softly,
"Goodmorning."

She stirs around and groans,
"What time is it?"

I say,
"6:30."

She lays on her stomach, still on mine, and says,
"So we still have 15 minutes."

I say,
"Yeess.. But you DID fall asleep so early."

She says,
"No I didn't. I was watching the whole time!"

I laugh and say,
"Sweetie you were snoring by 7:30."

She whines and says,
"Hey I do not snore."

I laugh and say,
"Mmhmm. Anyway you're changing the subject."

She pleads,
"5 more minutes?"

I play with her hair and say,
"Fine. You're lucky you're cute."

She smiles and says,
"That makes two of us."

I smile back and stroke her soft hair and wait till 6:45 to start to get ready.

After she falls asleep again her arms wrap around and hold me and it makes my heart melt.
I lean my head down and very softly kiss the top of her head.
I don't know if that was a good choice or not but she's asleep so she'll never know.

After 15 minutes go by, Rowan wakes up herself. She yawns and stretches out.
I say,
"Now are you ready sunshine?"

She smiles and says softly,
"Yes."

She gets off of me and says,
"You're super comfy by the way."

And giggles. I laugh and say,
"Well I'm glad I was there."

She says,
"You can use my shower I'll use the one in my parents room."

I nod and grab my clothes and head for the bathroom.
Since I didn't bring my loofa for the shower I just kinda let the body wash run down my body. I guess it still got the job done.
I'm out of the shower in 15 minutes and dry my hair and grab my mini brush from my bag and brush it too.
I change into my clothes and see Rowan is still in the shower so I run out to my car and go through my wardrobe bag and apply my deodorant and perfume. I grab a mint until I get to brush my teeth at the studio and zip it up and lock my car. I go back inside and am greeted by Rowan's parents. They smile and say,
"Hello Sabrina! Goodmorning."

I smile back and say,
"Hi Mr. And Mrs. Blanchard, Goodmorning to you too."

Just as I say that Rowan comes down into the front room where we are and says giggling,
"You know Michael's gonna kill you for not having that outfit in wardrobe right?"

I say,
"Yeah he probably will."

Carmen says,
"Oh hey Row, hey Sab. Good luck today."

I thank her and Rowan jokingly pushes her over into a chair.

Carmen whines,
"Mommy! Rowan pushed me. Ground her."

I think about how I'd kill to have another one of these family moments again.
Well. We just gotta wait another 2 weeks for Christmas break.
I'm gonna surprise my parents when I come home. I'm gonna tell them I don't get a break because we're packed with recording, shows for the play, some concerts, and signing events. Which actually isn't a lie. Next week we obviously still have the same schedule for GMW, I have 2 concerts, and a show for the play every day plus one of the days is a 3 show day. One in the morning, after noon, and evening. It's gonna be packed.
They're gonna be so shocked I can't wait to see their faces.

Rowan says,
"Okay we're leaving bye."

And grabs my hand and leads me out the door.
As we're walking to the car she intertwines our fingers and I squeeze her hand. She smiles and leans her head on my shoulder.
I unlock the car with my key and pull away to open the door.
She whines and I say laughing,
"I gotta open the door!"

She says fake pouting,
"I knowww."

After we buckle up and I turn on the car. I grab her hand again and put it on her lap.

I had another perfect day at the studio with the most perfect girl in the world.

This chapter might be my favorite and it's only the third😂😂
