Chapter 70

Rowan's POV:

Skip ahead to November 5th

Right now it's 3pm and I just got out of the shower.
I got to rush I need to get to the airport by 3:30 I accidentally slept too late when I laid down for a 10 minute nap.
You know what it's fine it's fine.
I'll make it.

I dry off my hair best I can before putting it up in a messy pony tail.
I slip on a pair of sweatpants, vans and a hoodie. I grab my phone and backpack and run down the steps to meet my mom who's been waiting in the car.
I throw myself in the car and exhale out tiredly.
She laughs and says,
"You over slept didn't you?"

I say putting my seatbelt on as she backs out of the driveway,
"Whaaat? No."

She smiles and says,
"Okay whatever you say."

I stare out the window as the radio is playing quietly.
My mom asks,
"So are you excited?"

I nod and say smiling,
"So excited."

She asks,
"And she has no idea right?"

I say,
"None."

She smiles and continues to drive me to the airport.

Soon I get lost out in my thoughts as I'm staring out the window.

"Row honey we're here."

My mom says softly.
I turn my head to her and say unbuckling my seat belt,
"Oh sorry I zoned out."

She rubs my shoulder and says,
"Okay well you're gonna be flying on your own. So stay safe and-"

I cut her off,
"Mom I know I flew before on my own before."

She laughs and says,
"Okay. I'll see you in two days."

I nod and grab my back and head into the airport.

I walk towards my terminal and along the way I grab a coffee at Starbucks and sit down in a chair.

I take my phone out of my pocket and check my texts:

4:02 pm

Sabrina😍: hey
Sabrina😍: wtf it's been like 2 hours you haven't answered
Sabrina😍: are you still asleep
Sabrina😍: or are you just dead
Sabrina😍: if so just remember I love you and pls don't haunt me or knock shit over to scare me
Sabrina😍: WAKE UP
Sabrina😍: I'm so ded and I'm very grumpy and don't want to talk to anyone
Sabrina😍: except you bc you make me happy
Sabrina😍: I'm gonna cry :((((((

Rowan: yeah you did bc I felt my side buzzing and I thought my phone was having a damn seizure
Sabrina😍: well then my plan worked now didn't it

Rowan: I'm pissed you woke me up I didn't sleep last night
Sabrina😍: stfu I'm up at 6 everyday I have a show
Rowan: weLL IM NOT ON TOUR
Sabrina😍: WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD BE

Rowan: if it requires me to be up early everyday... NAHHHH
Sabrina😍: its not that bad after a while
Rowan: no it is. My mom makes me get up early for class too
