Chapter 62

Sabrina's POV:

By the time my flight departed it was 9:30.
I'm just now pulling up to my apartment at 1am.
Oh yeah and I forgot to tell you: Sarah moved to LA permanently with me now. I don't know why she didn't in the first place, but she's here now!

I quietly walk in because I'm not sure if she spent the night at her boyfriends or not.
I tip toe into the bedroom and see her bed empty.
I check the kitchen, bathroom, and living room.
No sign of her.
I text Peyton:

Sabrina: quick question
Peyton Clark: what's up
Sabrina: don't tell her I'm asking but is Sarah with you?
Peyton Clark: yes... why
Sabrina: can you keep a secret
Peyton Clark: indeed I can
Sabrina: I flew in just tonight and I'm home now.
Peyton Clark: AYEEEEE NO WAY
Peyton Clark: that's kinda the reason why she's here tonight anyway. Also bc I wanted to see her
Sabrina: what's the reason?
Peyton Clark: she and Rowan were pretty bummed you weren't gonna be home and how they only have a week with you left home and you're not even here and all that stupid girl stuff
Sabrina: so Rowan's there?
Peyton Clark: no she's home as far as I know
Sabrina: okay well I'll see you tomorrow then
Peyton Clark: Okay goodnight
Sabrina: night

They're both pretty upset that I "wasn't supposed" to be home. Damn.

I text Rowan:

Sabrina: where are you
Rowboat💕: well I was in bed sleeping but now I'm in bed texting you
Sabrina: shit sorry
Rowboat💕: why are you asking?
Sabrina: um because you haven't been texting me yet I saw you liked pictures on ig
Rowboat💕: well I was just on Instagram before I fell asleep..
Rowboat💕: why are you up anyway
Sabrina: uh long meeting
Rowboat💕: mhm
Rowboat💕: OO I GET IT! Are you suprising me again
Sabrina: those are getting old actually
Sabrina: I'm just gonna say it
Sabrina: I'm home lol
Rowboat💕: i jUst sCREAMED
Rowboat💕: baBY COME OVER
Sabrina: was it THAT much of a shock
Rowboat💕: YES JUST COME OVER
Sabrina: I gotta driiiive all the wayyyy over thereeeee :((((
Rowboat💕: oh come tf on I live 10 minutes from you.
Rowboat💕: Get your lazy ass up from where ever you are
Sabrina: I'm standing
Rowboat💕: and GET the fuck over here right now or I'll literally abuse you when I see you tomorrow
Sabrina: honey you couldn't if you tried
Rowboat💕: why because I'm a girl?!
Sabrina: calm your feminist tits that's not how I meant it. And wtf I'm a girl too so why would I say that
Rowboat💕: oh true lol whoops
Rowboat💕: just get over here before I break up with you:)
Sabrina: OKAY OKAY IM COMING
Rowboat💕: i love you

I groan and grab my keys and head to the car AGAIN and drive to my girlfriend's house.

When I'm there I open the door and sneak up the steps.
I peek into Rowan's room and see her on her laptop turned the other way. I listen carefully and notice she's listening to my song thumbs. What a cheesy girlfriend move.

I slam the door frame and yell to scare her.
She screams and almost falls off the bed. When she sees it's me she grabs her heart and breathes out a sigh of relief.

I say quietly,
"Rowan! I know my songs good but don't scream so loud you're gonna wake your family."

She glares at me and I smirk back and walk to her giving her a peck on the lips.
She pulls me down on the bed next to her.
She says,
"I was listening to your song when you came. How cheesy."

I say,
"Yeah that's what I thought."

She exhales happily and cuddles into me and kisses my cheek.
