Chapter 69

Rowan's POV:

I really don't want to leave Sabrina today.
It's gonna kill me.
After spending our first night back together after a while, it's gonna be extra bitter.

I woke up extra early this morning to take a step outside for some fresh air.

I slowly get out of bed not to wake my sleeping girlfriend or her sister and crew.
I tip toe out to the front of the bus and walk outside and sit on a bench by a tree down the street.

I sigh out loud and run my fingers through my hair.

I get out my phone and answer any texts back I never checked last night:

7:08am

Coreybaby: hey row the toe how was last night😉😏
Peytonnn: SOOOOOOOO?! How'd it go
Momma: hi sweetie so was she surprised? Send me pictures!!

I respond to them:

Rowan: row the toe? Really?!
Coreybaby: hahahahahahha ya cause every time I type row it corrects to toe
Rowan: anyway.... last night went great
Coreybaby: "great"😏😏😏
Rowan: not like that omf
Coreybaby: .... but it was like that right
Rowan: yeah maybe
Coreybaby: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I knew it
Rowan: shut up stop being a child
Coreybaby: I can't 😞

Rowan: it was perfect jejcdjjejskand
Peytonnn: Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay
Peytonnn: what'd you do?!
Rowan: i surprised her as if I was in a crowd of fans and when she got to meet me I just hugged her
Rowan: when she realized it was me she teared up
Rowan: i repeat
Rowan: she TEARED. UP.
Peytonnn: do you realize you're the only thing she's probably ever cried over in a WHIIIIIIILE
Rowan: ☺️

Rowan: yes she was so surprised! And okay here's some fan pictures they took

Momma: how stinkin cute!!!
Momma: love you girls❤️
Rowan: we love you too
Rowan: I don't want to leave her today :/
Momma: oh so you don't want to see your mom
Rowan: mom seriously
Momma: kidding kidding
Rowan: it's just really gonna suck.
Momma: well hey let me propose an offer
Rowan: ... okay
Momma: in a few days the American eagle campaign comes out right?
Rowan: yeah
Momma: then you're free for a little bit right?
Rowan: .....
Momma: where's Sabrina gonna be on the 5th
Rowan: Portland
Momma: how about I buy you a plane ticket to fly out there to surprise her
Rowan: mom stop
Rowan: that's not even funny
Rowan: my heart just dropped to the floor
Rowan: If you're kidding that's messed up STOP
Momma: I'm not kidding honey☺️
Rowan: OMG YES
Rowan: you would really do that??!!?
Momma: of course!
Momma: just obviously don't tell her
Momma: so you're gonna have to fake cry
Rowan: that's not hard for me when saying goodbye to Sabrina is involved
Momma: then it'll all work out perfect
Rowan: THANK YOU MOM THANK YOU THANK YOU
Momma:❤️

OkAY WELL NOW I'M SO EXCITED OH MY GOD
I CAN'T WAIT FOR PORTLAND

I HAVE to tell Corey and Peyton:

Rowan: So I'm the best girlfriend ever.
Rowan: Wanna know why?
Rowan: Because I'm flying out to Portland to surprise Sabrina on the 5th
Coreybaby: AH NO WAY
Peytonnn: YES ROW THATS SO ROMANTIC AND CUTE AND SWEET
Rowan: BWJCISD IM SO EXCITED MY MOM WAS LIKE ILL BUY YIU A TICKET
Coreybaby: YOUR MOMS LITERALLY THE BEST PERSON
Peytonnn: THIS IS WHY I WISH SHE WAS MY MOM
Coreybaby: I WANNA MEET YOU GUYS THEFE
Peytonnn: mE TOO TF
Rowan: OMFG GUYS DO IT
Coreybaby: MAYBE WE CAN. BABY WHAT DO YOY SAY?
Peytonnn: HELL YES!
Coreybaby: okAY MAYBE WELL SEE YOU IN PORTLAND FOR THE BEST DOUBLE COUPLE REUNION
Rowan: NFISJS YAAAAAAAAAY OKAY

Before I can read what Corey replied to I suddenly feel two strong hands grip my shoulders with a growl.
I scream out and turn around quickly to face the person.

Not to my surprise: it's just Sabrina, laughing  her ass off.
I scoff and push her hands off of me and say sitting down on the bench,
"What the hell that was rude."

She pouts and says coming over to me with her arm wrapped around me,
"D'awwwe did I scare you that much?

I turn my head to glare at her eyes.
She tries to hold back a sad face but breaks into laughter kissing my temple saying,
"I'm sorryyyy."

I ask,
"Why are you even awake?"

She says facing me,
"I could ask you the same question."

I say twiddling with my thumbs,
"I'm just sad to leave today."

She frowns and says,
"Well me too. But what're you doing out here? It's kinda chilly for your bare arms."

I shrug and say looking out at the sunrising higher,
"I just needed fresh air."

She peels her eyes from me and out to the sunrise too.

After a few minutes of silence she asks rubbing my arm,
"Are you cold?"

I shrug and slightly nod.
She takes off her hoodie leaving her in a tee and slips it over my head.
She kisses my cheek and looks back out at the sun.
I scoot closer to her wrapping my arms around her waist and leaning my head on her shoulder.

I never wanted to leave this moment.

Good thing I get to go back soon.
