When we celebrated our first year together I promised to her. I promised I would he there for her to support, protect, be loyal to, be her best friend, and to love. Forever.
A year ago today I broke that promise.
And I never break my promises.
I'd check to see how she's doing but I'm blocked on all forms of social media.
And I don't care enough to check through my sister sarah, who's relationship is still thriving.
Corey is the only person I still talk to from that era in my life.
I've been doing me.
Feeling numb while I'm doing it, but still doing me.
I'm assuming she's thriving.
I'm hoping.
She deserves nothing less.
I wonder if my contact is blocked.

Some days are easy.
I wake up and go to a recording session or a photoshoot or traveling to a different country.
But some days are hard.
I wake up and feel like I never fell asleep. The whole day is spent in solidarity thinking about how much I took for granted and how long a year goes by.
Today is one of those days but on a new severe level.
