Girl Meets New Love

Chapter 34

I forgot they're having an actual premiere for the movie so let's say this is an after party. Okay? Okay.

Sabrina's POV:

The party is going great so far everyone's having fun.
OH and about Peyton and Corey's relationship..
Yeah they finally admitted to each other that they like each other and they have a cute little thing going I love it.
I knew it.
Sometimes on the show the way they look at each other, it's so obvious they can't hide it

I'd like to say Rowan and I helped them out a bit.
And by helped them out, I really mean it.
We set them up together tonight to just get to talk about their feelings alone.
They finally came out and everyone was so supportive and happy.

When Austin came I greeted him at the door.
He looked around to make sure no one was looking and pulled me into the kitchen.
He pulls a black bag from behind him. I smile and whisper,
"Is that beer?"

He nods with a smirk and whispers back,
"I got it from my sister. She gave it to me to bring tonight."

I whisper,
"Here follow me to the laundry room."

He nods and follows me around the corner and into the laundry room.
I pull out a cardboard box of empty soda cans from the closet.
I say,
"I keep these and wash them out so we can just pour the beer in here so no one, especially Rowan, can know we're drinking."

His eyes open wide and exclaims quietly,
"That's a perfect idea!"

I grab two empty cans and bring them back into the kitchen.
I crack two beers open and carefully pour them in the cans.
I put the rest of the beer in the back of the fridge.
Austin and I clank our cans together and I say,
"Cheers."

He says taking a swig,
"And cheers to your movie, congrats dude."

And winks.
I thank him with a smile and whisper,
"We should tell some people that we who know drink and we can trust about our little secret."

He nods his head and says,
"Alright later though, it's too soon."

I agree and we walk out of the kitchen.

Rowan comes up to me and kisses my cheek and says,
"Hey cutie."

I smile and kiss her jawline and continue on with the night socializing and catching up.

After the movie and several secret beers drank by everyone except Rowan, Jake, Corey, and Jordan.

And surprisingly, everyone kept the secret and they have no idea we're drinking beer.
I'm actually really surprised they haven't smelt it, but shush don't jinx it.

Brad pulls me to the corner and says,
"Hey can I uh- tell you... Actually. Never mind this is stupid."

I say,
"Oh come on tell me."

He whispers in my ear,
"I still really like you. I'm into you Sabrina."

I don't know if this is the beer talking or if he's serious. I wouldn't doubt it if he's serious.

Ross turns off the lights and says,
"Oooookay guys I have a fun game. Since there are some singles and couples here.. Let's see how well you all know each other.... By each other's lips."

Everyone ooh's and he says,
"Okay everyone. move around the room! Then close your eyes. And find your lover by feeling their face then kissing them."

I laugh to myself knowing he's just really drunk, but I on the other hand. Still have some of my senses to just cheat and find Rowan.

He counts down,
"1.....2......3.... GO."

I half open my eyes and see people already making out. I look over at Sofia sitting next to Rowan.
She grabs my girlfriends face and kisses her hard. Rowan smiles against her lips and kisses back.

Oh you little fucker.
I don't know who I'm more mad at: Rowan for kissing back, Ross for this stupid ass game, or Sofia for starting problems.

I angrily turn around to Brad and open his eyes for him.
I say,
"Still like me?"

He nods his head viscously and I smash our lips together.
He holds my hips and I run my fingers through his hair.

Ross separates from Dove, turns on the lights, and says breathing out,
"Okay love birds get off each other."

We hear people start to laugh and gasp when they see who they were kissing.
I pull back from Brad leaving him with a big smile on his face. He says. quietly,
"Did you miss that from last year?"

And tries to continue but I refuse.
Guilt suddenly infests my body and I feel bad.
But how could Rowan not know that wasn't me? She had to have.
Since Brad is taller than me and I'm pushed against the wall, Rowan thankfully can't see us.

We finally let go and I slip away from behind him and see Rowan staring at Sofia surprised.
Sofia smiles and laughs and says,
"Whoops I didn't know th-that waaas you."

Goddamn it Sofia you can't speak right the one time it matters.

Rowan furrows her eyebrows and looks over at me then Sofia, me then Sofia, me then Sofia, me then Sofia.
Her eyes widen and comes over to me and says,
"Sab I-"

I shake my head and walk away. She grabs my arm and says,
"Babe I didn't kno-"

I say,
"How the hell did you not know? You didn't feel or smell or-"

Brad cuts me off and says,
"Hey wanna continue?"

I quickly push him away and Rowan glares at me.
She slaps me across the face and says,
"I can't fucking believe you."

And storms out. The room falls silent.
I feel the blood drain from my face and just everywhere else in my body.
I fall to my knees and put my head in my hands.
Corey sits next to me and holds me close to him.
He puts his chin on my head and says rubbing my back,
"It's gonna be okay."

I shoot up and run out the door for Rowan.
WHY THE FUCK DO I DO THESE THINGS?!
