Girl Meets New Love

Chapter 10

Sabrina's POV:

Skip to after the flight

Finally after 6 hours, I arrive back in my home state.
Wow it feels so good.
I breathe in that old PA air and it brings a smile to my face instantly.
I'm so excited and nervous.

As I get my luggage and go to the car with the guard, my heart starts to drop.
I text Rowan:
Sabrina: hey pumpkin we landed and I'm on my way now
Rowan: hiiii you just woke me back up😂😂 but good! I already miss you next to me. Take a video!
Sabrina: sorry love but it's too late to be sleeping and I will I will

I text my mom to start the FaceTime call.
Sabrina: alright I'm done for today
Mom: oh good can we call you now?
Sabrina: go for it

On FaceTime

"HI SABRINA!"

Chants everyone.
My dad my mom my sisters and my aunt and uncle are all there.
I can't wait.

I wave and smile and say,
"Hey guys."

My little cousin asks,
"Why are you in the car?"

I say,
"I'm coming home from work!"

My other cousin, her older brother asks,
"Were you filming the show?"

I say,
"Yup now I'm done."

My mom asks in a sneaky voice,
"Wait why aren't you driving? And why are you in a hoodie with your hair up?"

I laugh and say,
"Alright miss interrogator. I'm going to a signing now so I have a driver and I just put Rowan's hoodie on because it was raining."

She says,
"Oh yeah I did see that it was raining there."

Sarah jokes,
"You better be treating Row good, you hear me?"

I smile and say,
"Don't worry she's in good hands."

My dad says,
"Obviously not if you took her hoodie and left her with nothing in the rain!"

Everyone laughs and I say,
"Oh but father you missed the fact that I let Corey take her back to my apartment and stay there."

He raises and eyebrow and Shannon says,
"Trust me dad that's a cute thing. Good job Brina."

I laugh and say,
"So what are you all doing."

Sarah holds my dog Goodwin to the camera and says kissing him,
"Being bored. Wishing you'd be here."

I frown and hear my guard say,
"Sabrina we're here!"

Everyone groans and I say,
"I'll stay on until it starts."

I get out of the car and quickly change the camera to the ground and press it against my body so they can't see anything.
I signal to my guard to start recording on his phone and he does.
Just before I walk into the house,
My aunt asks,
"So do you know when you'll be home?"

I can't help but grin and walk into my house and in the living room and say,
"Why not today?"

My mom screams, trust me it was happy, and runs up to me and engulfs me in a hug.
Everyone runs up to us and hugs me.
My mom pulls back and looks at me and kisses my cheek basically screaming,
"HOW ARE YOU HERE? OH MY LITTLE GIRL I MISSED YOU!"

I say,
"Yeah I obviously lied about all that. We did get a 2 week winter break sooo here I am."

My dad says pointing his finger at me saying,
"Now I always said lying is bad but I'll accept it in this case."

He holds me tight and I look over his shoulder and greet everyone else after.

About an hour later my mom finally calmed down. She overreacts to everything but for me to surprise her for the first time in 2 years is acceptable.

We all sit on the couch and Sarah asks,
"Why didn't you bring Rowan?"

I say,
"Because! It's Christmas. She's with her family. But I really want her here so I'm thinking of flying her out the last week or something. She's never been here."

My aunt says smiling,
"Do you miss her?"

I close my eyes tight and say,
"Already like crazy."

Everyone awe's and I joke,
"Yeah yeah I know I'm pretty adorable and the best girlfriend in the world."

My little cousin turns on the tv and goes to Disney Channel.
When I see a girl meets world episode from season 1 is on I scoff and say,
"Ew who's that blonde girl."

Sarah laughs and says,
"I don't know some weirdo from Pennsylvania."

I smile and say referring to Rowan on the screen,
"Look how little and cute. Awe my wittle pumpkin."

Sarah jokes pushing me over,
"Shut up we get it you're in love with her."

I laugh and say to my little cousin,
"Is this the start of your girl meets world marathon I heard about?"

She smiles at me and nods her head. She says,
"It's gonna last everyday we're here because we're so proud of you Sabby!"

And wraps her arms around me. I smile and hug her back and sit her on my lap.
My dad says,
"Or because we didn't think you'd be home but her answer was better."

We laugh and I say,
"Well I'm just glad to be home and here with you guys."

My mom says,
"Awe me too honey. I can't wait to see everyone's reactions when they see you when they arrive this week!"

I joke,
"They don't know I'm here yet? That's odd because you usually post everything on Facebook within seconds. And I mean EVERYTHING."

My mom scoffs and everyone says simultaneously,
"It's true."

My uncle said,
"These past 2 years you were like a Sabrina update fan page. Every hour
you had a new post on where she was as what she was doing."

We laugh and my mom says laughing,
"Well sorry for being interested."

I smile and say,
"I know I know I'm kidding."

Sarah says grabbing my hand,
"This is gonna be the best best 2 weeks ever!"

UPDATE YAAAY!
I'm sorry guys I honestly have no motivation to update my books anymore but I still am! Just very very slowly. Haha. Having like 3 books is hard but I'm doing it for you guys! Thanks for being so patient and for loving this read! Xoxo Jackie
