Girl Meets New Love

Chapter 8

Sabrina's POV:

I can't wait for Venice.
I love the beach but we haven't been able to go a lot with constantly having a full schedule.

Finally after a little while in the car,
We arrive.
I open the door for Rowan and grab her hand as we walk to the water.

We set our bags and towels down on the sand and go to the shoreline.
As our toes just barely touch the water it's the best feeling ever.
I loooove the ocean and it's always so nice in LA. It's uncomparable to the east coast.

Rowan says to me,
"It's so nice! I missed this."

I say as were walking in deeper,
"Me too."

As the water goes up to our stomach
Row cringes and says,
"Oh my gosh it's so cold I have to get used to it before I go under."

Good thing I wore water proof makeup.
I grab Rowan and dip her under the water with me.
She gasps and splashes me saying,
"Oh you're gonna get it Miss Carpenter."

She brings me under again with her.
I open my eyes and bring my lips to hers.
I feel her kissing back and it sends chills through my spine.
I pull back right before we go up.
If paparazzi sees us kiss, we're screwed.

I run my fingers through my soaked hair and bite my lip.
She smirks at me and says,
"I'll let you go for now. But just wait for later."

I say,
"I've been a bad girl, but I think we should wait till we get home."

She jokingly slaps my arm and says,
"Shh."

I smile and we continue to talk and swim around for an hour.

After we feel completely pruned, we get out and lay on the towels and try to tan for another hour.

Once the sun starts to set, I suggest,
"What do you want to do now?"

Rowan stands up and says,
"Well it's 7 so let's go grab dinner outside and enjoy the pretty Christmas lights downtown."

I smile ear to ear.
This has been such a perfect day already.
I love this girl.

She grabs my hand and we pick up our towels and bags and make our way to the showers.
We rinse the salt water off and dry off and get changed in the bathroom.
I throw my hair up in a pony tail and Row puts it in a messy bun, which I absolutely adore on her.

As we make our way down the street to the restaurant hand in hand, I see a crowd of people pushing their way through upcoming pedestrians.

I pull my hand back and say,
"There's fans."

She says,
"I can't wait till we just tell them. I hate to hide this."

I rub her arm and say,
"I know me too. Trust me waiting is better."

After taking pictures with fans and eating dinner,
We enjoy the walk back to the car with the pretty decorated downtown street and buildings.

I know I always said I can't wait to see my family again, but I don't want to leave Row. I wish I could take her back with me.
2 weeks IS a long break to be honest.
Maybe just maybe I'll fly her out for the last week.
Hm.

"Sab. Babe-"

Rowan snaps me out of my thoughts right when she calls me babe
The way it perfectly falls out of her perfect plumped lips like a song always draws my attention to her.

She says letting out a small laugh,
"You zoned out. You okay?"

I say,
"Oh yeah I'm just thinking about the break. I just don't want to leave you for that long. I mean what could you do without me."

She jokingly scoffs and I laugh. She says,
"It will be pretty boring when I'm not with family, but it's all gonna be worth it. Sab 2 years. 2 whole years you haven't seen your family. 2 weeks isn't enough to them. They love and miss you. I can see you all the time, they can't."

I nod,
"I know I know you're right."

She kisses my cheek and asks softly,
"Ready to go?"

I say as my cheeks burn,
"Mhm."

We eventually make our way back to where the driver pulls up.

After we get in the car, we take cute and funny pictures together and post some on Twitter and Instagram.

When we get back to my apartment I let Rowan take a shower from all the salt water first.

I put our clothes in the laundry and put my bag down.

After she's out I take a quick, hot shower.

I change into a pair of sweats and an over sized shirt that I think is Corey's that he left here.

I walk out into my bedroom and see Rowan already in bed on her phone.
She looks up at me and smiles and says,
"You still look fucking gorgeous in sweats and a big tee."

She's so cute, I love her and I just want her all the time. I can't help myself but dive onto the bed and right up next to her with my arms around her waist.
She puts her phone down and rubs my cheek with her thumb and has her arm on my side.
I lay my head on her stomach and say,
"Row."

She says,
"Yeah peaches?"

I let out a little laugh and say,
"I love you so much."

She leans her head down and kisses my still fairly damp hair and says,
"I'll love you forever.

And with that I let sleep wash over me in the happiest state I've been in in a while.

Yay update!
The updates take so long bc honestly I don't have the same motivation to write I had when I wrote my first book.
I thought I could handle 3 books but I can't.
So I might take a hiatus or just continue one so let me know what you guys want:
