Girl Meets New Love

Chapter 64

Rowan's POV:

Skip ahead to Tuesday

Tomorrow's the day. Tomorrow's the day EVOLution tour starts. It's nothing but bittersweet.
I'd love to say it's more sweet than bitter. But I'd be lying.
I am so so so proud of Sabrina, but I won't see her for 3 months.
I just can't go with her.
I can't.
I have my own career and events I have to go do.
As much as I'd love to put my own life on pause and go with her... I can't.

My dad snaps me out of my thoughts when he slams his fork on the table.
My head shoots up and I see every one looking at me at the table.
Sabrina looks the most concerned.
She raises an eyebrow and places her thumb on my cheek and asks softly,
"Are you okay row?"

I mumble barely making a sound,
"Mhm."

She says,
"Why don't you eat breakfast? You look kinda pale."

She slides my chair closer to hers and I rest my head on her shoulder and wrap my arms around her torso.

My mom says,
"Ohhhh I know what this is about."

Carmen says,
"No SHIT mom everyone knows this about Sabrina leaving for tour!

At the sound of it I involuntarily let out a
whimper, making Sabrina squeeze me tighter.

My dad exclaims,
"HEY language!"

My mom pouts and says trying to comfort me,
"Honey it's not long. And you'll be able to talk-"

I say,
"Stop just stop please. Stop talking about it."

My parents look at each other, then Sabrina and give a head nod.
She suddenly lifts me up bridal style and blows raspberries into my neck as she runs up the steps and into my room.

She jumps on my bed and says standing,
"In honor of me leaving to Tennessee today for another 3 months break that won't bother us at all because we're the strongest couple out there.."

I let out a giggle and she continues,
"WE.... Are going out on a day just for me and you to spend time together. So get your shoes on let's go. Now now now now!"

I raise an eyebrow and slip my flip flops on and follow her out the door when she grabs my hand.

We walk down to her car hand in hand.
When we get in, she reconnects our hands and I look at her confused and she gives me the same face back and laughs. She says in a baby voice,
"What's wrong honey? Did someone not get enough sweep wast night?"

I mumble,
"No I didn't actually."

She asks,
"What? I can't even hear you."

I say a little louder,
"Nothing."

She says,
"Speak up."

I say loudly,
"NOTHING."

And look out the window and pull my hand back with a huff.
She asks,
"Did I do something to make you mad? Orrr?"

I say,
"No."

She raises an eyebrow and looks back at the road.

After a few minutes of silence she asks,
"Why were you awake at 6 am this morning?"

I say,
"I wasn't."

She objects,
"Yeah you were. I woke up to you getting up and walking out. Where'd you go?"

I say,
"On a walk."

She looks at me to go on and I say,
"I just wanted to collect my thoughts."

She replies as she turns the car into a parking lot,
"Well. That's why I brought us here."

I say,
"Swanson lake?"

She turns the car off and turns to me and looks into my eyes.
I look back and let out a laugh through my nose and a side smile. I didn't even mean to it just happens every time I look at her.

She smiles back and says softly,
"What?"

I say back quietly,
"Nothing."

It goes silent again as we stare at each other lovingly.

That is..
Until my emotions take over and thoughts race through my head.

I'll never see her again
She's gonna fall in love with someone else
She's gonna cheat on me
She's not coming back
If she loves me she wouldn't go

None of that is true, but it makes me cry.

My eyes well up and concern and worry suddenly covers Sabrina's face.
She cups my face and says,
"Hey hey babe. What's wrong?"

I let out another whimper and she engulfs me in a hug and says,
"Please don't cry. Don't let tears cover your beautiful face. What's wrong?"

I say sobbing,
"I'm gonna miss you."

She squeezes me tighter and says,
"Baby I'm gonna miss you too. But I mean let's be real, we've gone without each other for so much longer. It's all gonna fly by!"

I say,
"Y-yeah b-but those times were different and-and we promised we w-ouldnt take more breaks. Now-now that we're together again and you'll be out living your dream and I'll just f-feel bad."

She pulls back to kiss me carefully and gently.
I pull back and say barely above a whisper with my voice cracking,
"I just don't want to say goodbye."

She whispers,
"Then don't. It's more or less a see you later. Or so long."

She reaches for the door handle and opens it.
She runs off to the other side of the car and opens the door for me.
She holds her hand out and I don't hesitate to take it.

We continue to walk around the lake, hand in hand. Enjoying our last few hours together just talking.

Soon, Sabrina got a call saying she has to leave for the airport.
She drives me back home and we exchange one last look at each other, a passionate kiss, and a tight hug. Today will keep replaying in my mind until December comes. When I get to see Sabrina again.

So sad :( poor Rowan :(((

EVOLution tour has officially started y'all aND I COULDNT BE MORE EXCITED I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE LOML IN PERSON ON NOVEMBER 25 JAJXJSJS

okay okay so tell me: Are you guys going to evolution tour and if so.. where?
Are any of y'all going to the NJ concert? If so I'll see ya there :))

Okay that's it for now I'm not sure how I'm gonna pick this up.. either the next chapter will be after tour and I'll have to make up my own shit or it'll just be Rowan's POV with what she's actually doing (like always) and Sabrina's POV with what show she was at and how it went (like I'd usually do)

So let me know what you guys wanna read and I'll do that for ya! I'm thinking more the second one only because I love writing them texting it's so fun and it would make sense for them to text if they weren't together (obviously)
