"David is not some minor hero in the Bible. He is called "a man after God's own heart." (Samuel 13:14) He is one of Israel's best-loved kings. He is one of the most prolific writers of Scripture (writing many of the psalms). He is in the lineage of Jesus Christ. And HE LOVED Jonathan.
