Kapre!Philippines x Reader (Part 2)

You've gotten to know Dakila over the few weeks you've known him. He's actually pretty cool. You go out to see him every once in a while. Today you feel like going over to see Dakila again.

You go to the place where the two of you first met. This is where you usually go to hang out with him. You just go there and he shows up in no time. Today was no exception. He asks you about your day.

"It was good," you answer. "But there's this guy at my school who keeps trying to ask me out."

"Really," he says with a look of concern on his face.

"Yeah. I've told him no but he won't stop. It's starting to get really annoying."

"I could take care of this guy for you."

"How?"

"I know a way to get his bed into a tree while he's sleeping in it without waking him up."

"Really?"

"It's actually pretty easy."

"I don't think we need to go that far, Dakila."

"I'll help in any way, (Name)."

You furrow your brow at him. "You seem more bothered about this than me."

"I refuse to let this guy have you."

Then it comes to you. "Dakila, are you jealous?"

"Yes."

...You didn't expect him to actually admit it. This is a turn of events, isn't it?

"I made a vow that I'd make you mine and I intend to keep it."

You don't know how to respond. Make you his? Wait a second, Kapres often fall in love with human women. Is Dakila saying he loves you? Oh boy, that's bad news for the guy who's pursuing you. Kapres are a force to be reckoned with when they're jealous.

"(Name)?" Dakila's voice brings you from your thoughts. "You okay?"

"Yeah, just got lost in thought is all."

Then you guys hear loud music coming from the direction of your house. They two of you go to investigate. It's the guy who's pursuing you.

He's currently boomboxing a love song to you outside your window that night.

"(Guy name)?" You ask to get his attention. He looks over his shoulder and once he sees you he quickly goes to turn off the music.

Dakila goes over to a big rock a few feet away and sits on it, wanting to see how this goes down.

"What're you doing?" You ask (guy name).

"I thought this might make you accept my proposal to go out with me," he answers.

You sigh. "(Guy name), we've been over this."

"I know, but I don't care."

You look over at Dakila sitting on a rock, who's currently looking upset. You know that Kapres won't be seen by someone unless they want to be seen and that you're probably the only one who can see him right now. But there are ways to get other people to see him when you're the only one who can see them. That gives you an idea that might finally get the guy to leave you alone.

"I have a boyfriend," you finally tell him. "I haven't told you before because it only just started recently. He's here, actually."

(Guy name) looks shocked. "Who?!"

"Let me introduce you two." You start to walk over to Dakila, who looks very confused.

"What're you doing, (Name)?" The Kapre asks you. You proceed to sit on his lap, knowing that this would cause (guy name) to now see Dakila.

"(Guy name), meet my boyfriend, Dakila," You say as you gesture to the Kapre.

Dakila realizes what you're trying to do, then smirks at (guy name) and wraps his arms around you and pulls you closer to him, putting his head on your shoulder.

(Guy name)'s eyes go wide at the sight of you on the lap of a Kapre. He knows just as well as you do that this is a fight he can't win and doesn't wanna be in the fight in the first place.

"I-I'm sorry," he says, suddenly afraid. "I didn't know. I promise I won't do it again. You two have a nice night." (Guy name) then proceeds to jump on the Nope Train headed all the way to Fuck-That-Ville, taking his boombox with him.

"So does this mean you love me too?" Asks Dakila once (guy name) leaves.

"I don't know if I'd go that far," you answer. "But I will say that I like you more that (guy name)."

"I'll take it." He breathes in through his nose, taking in your scent.

If this is anything like what her loving me will be like that, I'll make her love me yet, he thinks to himself.
