John one shot x reader - Springtime!

I've realised I had skipped John! So here is a John one shot x reader to correct my updating order a bit. I hope you'll enjoy this one!

I opened my eyes slowly and looked around me. The curtains still covered the windows and let almost no light come through so I couldn't guess the time by sunlight. The alarm clock was broken, I knew I should fix it before I went to sleep but I had been too lazy yesterday and so awfully tired. I had asked John to do it but... that made me think of John and a smile appeared when I looked beside me and saw that he was still sleeping. Excellent idea; let's follow his lead.

I placed my head on my pillow and moved a bit closer to John to gain some warmth. What day was it? Probably still weekend, at least, that's what I hoped it to be: I had a meeting with my boss on Monday. I realised that the time didn't matter when it was weekend, since I could sleep as long as I wanted to, and snuggles up to the still sleeping John. Awww, he looked so adorable when he slept! I fought the urge to make a picture and closed my eyes again. Yes, nothing was better that just being here with my loved one. I sighed in satisfaction and smiled.

Curiosity grew inside me, it was a feeling I often had. I wanted to know the time so I reached out for my phone on the bedside table but my fingers couldn't reach it. I stretched out a bit more. No, still too far for me. Why on Middle-Earth did I place that thing on the edge of the bedside table? I stretched as far as I could and reached my phone with a lot of effort. But instead of taking it, I, of course, threw it off the little table. It fell to the ground with a loud smack.

'Good morning, (y/n).' I heard John say after I cursed because of my phone. John's voice sounded so sweet in the morning. I forgot my phone completely and turned to look at him. 'Good morning, my Sleeping Beauty.' I said with a smirk. 'Did you sleep well?' I asked and he nodded. 'What was that smack?' He asked me and looked at me sternly, knowing I was clumsy enough to let everything fall. 'My phone,' I admitted, 'I hope the screen isn't broken.' He smirked at me. 'I hope it is; maybe you'll learn not to put it on the edge of the bedside table for once.' I hit him playfully and allowed him to wrap his arms around me.

Save and sound in his embrace, surrounded by his sent and warmth, I giggled when I heard his voice so close to my ears. 'Why did you need it anyway?' 'Oh, 'I said, 'just to tell the time.' I regretted my words immediately after I said them since John moved one arm away from me to grab his phone. 'Oh, it's seven o'clock.' He said calmly. 'Seven?! I needed to get up at six o'clock!' I said and wanted to jump up at once but John held me in my place. 'Relax! You needed to turn the clock this night, remember? It's six o'clock right now since you needed to turn the hands one hour backwards.'

'Oh.' I said, calmly now. 'Good.' I lay down again and placed my head on John's chest. 'Good.' I repeated and closed my eyes when the most horrible thought entered my mind. 'John?' I said and he sighed in annoyance that I disturbed the peaceful silence again. 'What is it, dear?' He said with the loving tone he always used when he talked to me. 'Are you sure that we had to turn the hands of the clock backwards? Not forwards?' The thought seemed crazy and I fiercely hoped John would sooth me with an 'I'm sure'  but instead of that he cursed and got up at once. 'You're right!' He shouted. 'It's already eight o'clock!'

We rushed out of bed and it took me around five minutesto get ready, a huge record. In the living room we found Sherlock sipping tea. 'Oh,are you finally up?' He said without looking away from his laptop. 'You couldhave woken us!' I said angrily. 'Why? This is much more fun.' Sherlock saidwith a smirk on his face. I could have beaten it of his face and vowed to do soafter my workday.

So, that was it! I really hope you liked this one! Good luck to all of you now you have to wake up one hour earlier... *sighs, "one more hour taken from the little time I can sleep"...*

I'm preparing for a really difficult test week so that's why it took me so long to update this. I'll try to update as soon as possible but I've got a lot of tests next week and the week after that so please understand me.
