"Papa, can you tell use how you met daddy? " My 6 year old daughter asked while sitting on the floor of the living room with her 4 years older brother, "Sure, so the year of 2019" I started

2019 February 12

"Omg, (name) is so cute, I don't care Tess that he like boys and girls (or/and everyone) , I'm asking him out for the valentines dance" Nia said as she was talking to Tess, and I was Eavesdropping from my locker

"She can't, I like (name)" I said closing my locker "who like me? " (Name) said leaning against the wall near my locker "Ahhh!, oh hi (name) " I said,
Me and (name) was on the good side he do my math homework and I payed him back with chocolate and a soda.

"Hi, now who like me ? " He said with a straight face on, he always smiling or looking like he own this place but he have a tint of jealousy in his eyes "Booker" He said snapping me out of my daze "oh I like umm... Gotta go" I said before running to class

Reader POV

I know he likes me but I haven't confirm it but Nia is just pretending to like me, so I can ask him out without being rejected but everyone been talking about who likes who and me and Booker theory has been up at the top and mostly all girls want us together and I want the same thing.

I walk off to class to hear once I stepped in, drumming from the back table "here's the handsome boy, (name) (last name)" My friend announced to everyone in the class, there's was no cheer only from my friends, "hey guys" I said walking up to them

"Have you talked to Booker? " One of my friends asked "sadly, no" I said looking down "get him at lunch" He said before the teacher walked in starting class

(At lunch)

"Nia, did you hear anything Booker said about me? " I said sitting down hoping he confessed "sorry,but he wrote this" She said sliding a folded piece of paper over, I unfolded it to find Booker writing Love poems at least trying to but I found it Bueatiful

"Hey guys" The voice I know to well said  "hey Booker, I got something for you" Nia said handing a peice  of paper giving me enough time to slide the paper in to my jacket

"I would love to go, (name) see you later" Booker said excited for some reason "Nia, what did you do? " I said  "read it" She said sliding the same piece of paper Booker had into my hands

I would like you to be my date to the Valentine's dance?

Nia had my hand writing down perfectly, "Nia, Thanks" I said hugging her, she knows what to do in every way possible

"Hey guys" I said walking over to my friends table "i got a date with the K to the I and then the N to the G" I said and spelt out the our code for our crush, they cheered and high fived me until a teacher told us to be quiet

(6pm at the Baxter-Carter apartment)

Silver Suit. Check. Deodorant. Check. Mint. Check. Flower. Check. Sunglasses. Check. Looking fly. Check. I walk to their apartment see Levi and Booker talking so I hid around the corner to eavesdrop

Booker POV
"What if we get laughed at or worse throw around? " I said pacing around
thinking of ever possible way to get humiliated "then I'll hunt them down" Someone said at the bottom of the stairs and there he was standing in a silver suit looking handsome as I was looking weird in a plain black suit

"You look amazing" He said, walking up the stairs to me "you too, Levi have fun with your girl" He turned to Levi "let's go" Nia said stepping outside with Tess, and we all walked out

Reader POV

I looked around to see my friends give me a thumbs up with my outfit
"So Booker what do you want to do Want to dance around or just talk? " I said "let's dance" He said leading us to the dance floor

After 20 minutes, I heard people talking about us but not the way I was expecting "hey Booker, want to head out to the perfect spot? "  I whisper his in his ear "sure" He said pulling me out of the room as fast as possible

(On a bench at park)

"Why you want to leave? " Booker said, looking at me confused "the kids was talking about us in a bad way" I said, looking  at the moon, wondering how girls dating are more allowed than boy "I was wondering if you wanted to date? " Booker said he slide his hand over to mine and grabbed it

"Sure, but your mom accept this? " I said looking at him to see a glimpse of stars in his eyes "yeah, she doesn't care if I'm gay or not see loves me in any way" He said before pulling me into a kiss "I love you, Now come on I want to meet your mom" I said running to their apartment with Booker being dragged

(At their apartment)

"Your ready, you don't have to, you can meet her later" He said trying to not let me go "Booker, I'm going to see her sooner or later, your acting like I haven't seen your baby photos already" I said pushing past him to open the door "wait what?! " He said before following me in "Hey, Booker who's this glittery disco king? " Ms. Baxter asked

"(name)" I said being formal and kissing her hand "very formal and Presentable, you can call me Raven" She said "you two don't make much noise, I'm about to sleep good night" She said leaving the room "If you are just-" " Mama no we're not" Booker interrupted "okay" She then left

"Papa, what happened next? " My daughter asked "well we grown up we stayed together it was very bumpy at the start but it got smoother" I said before my husband of 4 years entered
"And I still love the smile that on your face when I tell you I love you" He said before kissing me

"Ew, stop" Our kids complained blocking their eyes "okay, now it's time for dinner" Booker said before watching our kids run to the kitchen
"I love you" He said after kissing me again
