(The song used in this oneshot is 'Could I Love You Anymore?' by Renee Dominique and Jason Mraz. Go check it out, I absolutely just love it.I thought it would be nice to incorporate some of the little things I find joy in. Sometimes we get so overwhelmed by the bad stuff that's happening in the world, we forget to appreciate the little moments that make us smile. I hope this reminds you of them.)

"What makes you happy?"

"Having nothing to do so you start to sing your favorite song. While you sing, another voice joins in and the both of you start a duet. Even if you mess up the lyrics, as long as you know how the song goes, you'll sing with smiles on your faces."

You sat down on the bench placed conveniently on your balcony and pulled your knees close to your chest. The white curtains that were placed above the doorway leading to the balcony flew gently as the wind blew. Along with them, your (Hair color) locks moved, making you brush some of the hair off of your face and place them behind your ear.

With a small smile, you gazed at the setting sun and began to sing one of your favorite songs.

"Full moon, bedroom, stars in your eyes,

Last night, the first time that I realized,

The glow between us felt so right..."

In the orange glow of the sun, the ring on your finger seemed to shine brighter. And as your gaze lingered on it, you remembered the fact that you are now only days away from walking towards the ellon you have loved for centuries in the most exquisite gown to finally call him your husband and to have him call you his wife.

"We sat on the edge of the bed and you said,

"I never knew that I could feel this way",

Love today can be so difficult, But what we have I know is different, '

Cause when I'm with you the world stops turning..."

But before you could even finish the last word of the stanza, you gasped as someone lifted you off the seat and spun you around. Still in a daze, your feet gently touched the floor. But arms drew you close and soon you found yourself in a warm embrace.

When you looked up you saw the features your lover, features you would always recognize and adore, with a wide grin on his face. His eyes were shining with a mischievous glint.

"Could I love you anymore?" he sang, lifting you off your feet, a few inches off the ground, and spun the both of you once again. "Could I love you anymore? Could I love you anymore?"

You laughed, holding on tightly to his shoulders. "Lindir!" you shrieked as he turned around again. "Goodness, put me down!"

A chuckle left his lips as he did what you asked. But he did not let you leave his arms. Instead he placed his hand on your waist and the other gripped your hand. Sighing in bliss, you rest your head against his chest as he swayed the both of you from left to right.

"Could I love you anymore?" you sang in a whisper.

"Could I love you anymore?" he followed, resting his cheek against the top of your head.

This little moment did not happen often but whenever it did, it made you happy and it made you look forward for the next ones. Lindir was a minstrel and besides that, most of the time he is by Lord Elrond's side. When it became busy around Rivendell, Lindir would barely be home—leaving early in the morning and coming back late in the evening. But whenever he had the luxury to spend time with you, the both of you would sing and everyone who heard your voices would stop and smile, for they hear in your voices the love and happiness it brought. Remembering the times you would both spend making music made you smile even when the days grew darker. It made the days bearable.

It made you look forward to something.

It made life worth living.
