Soon Jackal saw another citizen of the Heart Kingdom running away. Seeing this, a smile appeared on his face as he was ready to pounce and kill the moving target. However, he heard something in the distance as he quickly moved out of the way.

With her grimoire opened, Mimosa creates a large flower and, from an opening of the petals, launches a powerful beam of concentrated mana. However, she was surprised that her enemy managed to avoid the attack in the last second.

With her grimoire opened, Noelle points her arm at the spatial magic portal in front of her, manifests the head of a sea dragon with sharp teeth, and fires it through the portal. When she did, the attack came out of the portal in front of Jackal and hit him directly.
"I did it! That should take care of-"
"So the attacker is that way. They gave away their location with that huge surge of mana."
Noelle and Finral were surprised that Jackal was barely damaged by Noelle's attack. However, they felt a shiver down their spine as when Jackal looked on their direction.
