With his grimoire opened, Invel created a gigantic ice shard in the air. As he brought down his arm, the ice shard broke apart into several spears made of ice that he rained down on Kyoya. Seeing that there were too many to eat at once, Kyoya decided to take a more defensive approach.
"Ice-Make:Rho Aias!!!!!!"

With his grimoire opened, Kyoya outstretched his right arm as he was channeling his Ice Devil Slayer Magic. Soon he created a large shield in the shape of an iridescent flower with seven layers of ice on top of it, one for each flower petal on the shield, as he used it to protect himself from Invel's attack.
"I managed to create it with seven petals. But his magic....its even freezing the layers of Rho Aias. If it wasn't for my Devil Slayer Magic, it would've already shattered."
Soon Kyoya saw the first layer of his shield being frozen and it shattered. Slowly but surely, Rho Aias was about to be destroyed as the surroundings felt colder and colder. However, Kyoya's eyes became wide with shock as he realized something.
"Just now I only feel cold due to my resistance to his magic, but the others don't have that resistance!!!!"
