"Hi Miss.Harper.." I said embarrassed.
"Storm ? How are you ? I HAVNT seen you in a while...why are you here ?"
I sighed, "Well, I have nowhere to go right now...My momma kicked me out."
Miss.Harper looked concerned, then started going through the computer.
"So, this is your new job ?" I asked her trying not to feel awkward.
"Yes, I've been here for a month now."
She said handing me a sheet.
The paper read, "New resident of Ohio County Shelter."
I smiled.
"Room 709...I cleared a room for you..we had no open space but...I'm going to help you out." She told me.
I wanted to hug her so bad.
"Thank you so much Miss.Harper!"
I was jumping for joy.
I hurried outside to get my bags and a car pulled beside me.
Just my luck it was Zulia and Maya.
They both looked over and laughed at me.
"What are you doing with all them bags ?" Maya giggled.
I ignored them and continued to take my things in.
"Is she homeless ?" Maya asked Zulia.
I carried two big bags onto the elevator to my room.
I opened the door with the keys Miss.Harper gave me and seen a twin size bed , one small closet, a boxed tv, and a table.
I laid my stuff on the bed and headed back to get the rest of my things.
Zulia was at the front desk handing her momma a Burger King bag.
I guess she was bringing her lunch.
Zulia rolled her eyes at me ,and then headed back out the door.
"Don't mind her...she is just having pregnancy hormones." Her mom reinsured me.
I followed behind Zulia, "Aye.."
She turned and looked at me with a attitude.
"Hundo wanted me to tell you that he is sorry and that he wanted you to call him."
I looked down at her stomach and notice she had a small baby bump.
"Girl...don't tell me shit my nigga told you..we back good already! Don't buy no more weed from him at all!" She snapped , then got in the car.
I watched the car speed off.
Wow.
Her and Hundo are together now ?
I grabbed the rest of my things and took it inside up to my room.
