I cried on my steering wheel.
As usual.
I was stuck, 30 minutes away from home.
I couldn't even call and check on my son.
I watched as people cleared away from the club.
The police pulled off.
I lefted my dress up and saw bruises all over my body.
They were purple and red.
I was in so much pain.
It felt like I was hit by a bus.
A car pulled up on the side of me.
It was a black Escalade truck.
It was Alex.
He was bumping some LIL BABY.
"You ok ?" He asked rolling down his window.
I opened my door, "No, my car won't start, I guess because of the cold."
"I don't have jumping cables, but, I can drive you home." He said smiling.
I shook my head, " No, I'm ok."
"You sure ? It's gonna get cold out here and you have a little dress on and you are all beat up and shit."
"Please leave the premises." A man came out the club and yelled towards us.
It was a older man.
I felt like it was Angel's dad.
I stared a little longer to see if Ava was going to come out.
She didn't.
She was in there with Angel's dad.
"Look, let me take you home beautiful." Alex said again turning the music down.
I took a deep sigh, looked back at the club again, then got out the car.
"Ok, but wait...I have to go in there to find my purse."
I limped all the way to the club double doors.
It felt like I was about to die, literally.
I banged on the door.
I stood there for about 3 minutes before the old man opened the door.
"Why are you still here girl ? My daughter didn't whoop yo ass enough ?" He snapped.
"I just want my purse!" I cried as I shivered in the cold.
"Here." Ava reached around him and gave me my purse.
I snatched it from her.
"I'm so sorry Storm, but, you don't understand." She said with watery eyes.
Angel's dad slammed the door in my face.
I limped to Alex's car and jumped in.
I went through my purse and realized my money I had, was gone.
"Fuck!" I yelled throwing my purse on the car floor.
"Put your address in my GPS." He handed me his iPhone.
