I had to bring Zeek with me to Applebee's.
I was going to have Hundo watch him, but he wasn't answering the phone.
Ava and Angel was already sitting down at a table.
Ava had on a ton of makeup.
She looked pretty though.
"Hey you guys." I said pulling out a seat.
Since he was in a car seat, I placed Zeek on the floor next to me and gave him his bottle. He could slightly hold it himself.
"Hey Storm. How are you?" Angel asked giving me a hug.
Ava looked irritated.
"I'm ok. Thanks for inviting me." I faked smiled.
Angel looked down at Zeek and waved at him, "Well, I told you we was going to do lunch one day."
I smiled then looked over at Ava.
She seemed forced to come out. Like she didn't want to come out.
"Your son is so cute." Angel said then started looking at the menu.
"Thank you, I'm actually, not hungry." I said, "I'll grab a water."
Ava folded her arms, "I want a soda. That's it." She said.
"Are y'all sure ? I'm buying?" Angel suggested.
Ava and I was silent.
"Ok well, I'm grabbing me some hot wings." Angel closed the menu.
"Tell her why you brought her here forreal ,forreal." Ava said looking at Angel with a attitude.
I was confused.
"Ok , let's cut to the chase , since y'all don't want to eat."
The waitress came up and asked are we ready.
"Yeah, I will have the crispy chicken barbecue with fries and a sprite."
"Two sprites." Ava added.
"A water with lemon." I added.
Soon as the waitress walked off, Angel continued, "Ava made me like 20,000 dollars over the last two months."
I gave her a stank look, "Made you ?" I clarified.
"Ok, well, made us!" Angel giggled like it was funny.
I looked at Ava and she seemed embarrassed.
"Doing what ?" I asked.
"Well, my dad owns a club downtown. Called ANTS."
I gave her a stank look, "I know exactly what that is." I folded my arms.
"Yeah,you been there?" Angel asked.
"No, I'm only 17." I snapped.
"So, what that mean ? You bad as hell baby ! I know you had a fake ID or a baller to get you in before."
I shook my head, "I'm not into that kind of thing."
