When I got to the hospital, I went up to the front desk to ask for a girl who came in last night in a ambulance who was unresponsive.
"What's her name ?" The man asked.
"I just know Brittney.." I told him.
He went in the computer and started typing some stuff then he asked me what was my relationship to her.
"Just, a friend."
He gave me a sad look, then told me to wait here.
I was confused and scared.
I sat down in a near by chair holding my stomach.
I was still cramping a little.
"I need to go see my doctor." I said to myself leaning in the chair.
A lady came walking over to me, "Hello, I'm Doctor Tammy." She put her hand out to shake mine.
"I'm Storm." I shook her hand.
"I'm sorry to inform you about your friend but, she didn't make it."
I looked at the doctor confused, "Huh ? Brittney?"
"Brittney Davis..yes. She died soon as she got here. She was DOA."
I dropped a tear, "But ? Why? Why ? How ? When I called 911 she was ok ...she was just knocked out right ?"
The doctor shook her head, "she had to much medication in her blood for us to save her."
"Medication?" I asked confused.
"The EMTS had to pump the medicines out her system. But they didn't get it all out in time."
"Medicine?" I asked wiping my tears.
"Do you know why she was in here ?" The doctor asked me confused.
I shook my head, "She came to my house crying and screaming about some news she found out..then she past out in the middle of my living room."
Dr. Tammy sighed, "Oh well, I'm not the one supposed to put her information out, you should contact her parents."
Dr. Tammy walked off.
I was so numb.
I just got up and walked out the hospital.
My stomach felt like shit.
It felt like zeek was running in my shit.
I was cramping so bad.
It felt like I knew Brittney my whole life.
I just met her but , she was so easy to connect to.
I sat in my car and cried on the steering wheel.
Did she over dose on meds trying to kill herself ? I thought.
It felt like death was apart of my life.
