"Sheila! You don't wanna kill her ! thats your daughter! Kill me!" Charles yelled out to her holding his hand out.
She turned the gun to him and cried, "How could you !? Do you know that's rape dummy !!"
I hurried and got in my car and then started it.
"Just give him the gun Sheila !" My grandaddy yelled walking slowly towards her.
Catherine was hyper ventilating.
"Daddy! Stay out of this !" Momma yelled to grandaddy.
Grandaddy put his hands up, " calm down sweet pee! Think about what your doing!"
Charles reached out for the gun, and she then quickly pointed back at me.
"One of you have to die !" She cried stumping her feet, "You made me get rid of my child ! Just for my child to have your child!!?" She screamed looking at him.
"Mommy ! I'm sorry ! I love you!" I said in a cracked voice.
"No you don't ! If you did, you wouldn't have did it !"
"Go Storm !Leave !" Catherine called out to me.
I put my car in drive, and my mom swung open my door trying to pull me out.
"Sheila, stop!" Charles yelled pulling my momma.
My momma put the gun back on Charles , so I hurried and closed my door and pulled off as fast as I could.
I didn't look back.
All I heard was a gun shot and Catherine and grandaddy screaming.
My heart was racing and my head was throbbing.
I drove as fast as I could back home.
I ran through lights and stop signs.
Surprisingly, I didn't get stopped by police.
I prayed the whole way home.
Hoping my momma didn't shoot Charles, or anybody else.
I grabbed Zeek out the car and his diaper bag and hurried into my apartment.
I sat on my bed and called Ava.
She just disappeared when everybody was leaving my mom's house.
I realized that I was so nervous, I didn't see her leave.
"Hello ?" She said.
"Ava !? Where are you?" I asked confused.
"I left! I couldn't deal with that bull shit..I had somebody come get me. I lefted out through the back door." She said agitated.
"You know people out here ?" I asked confused.
"Look, what's up ?" She asked changing the subject.
"Something happened...something ...bad." I said nervously.
