" I miss you so much daddy! It's been so long! To long." I cried.
I couldn't hold any tears back.
"How could you leave me for this long ?" I banged on his tombstone.
I laid some Roses down on his grave that I picked out of a garden while i was walking to the cemetery.
I wiped my face and stood up.
I looked up to the sky and thought about all our memories together.

When I got home, I saw Alex car parked outside my apartment.
I couldn't be late for work so I didn't even stop and ask him what he wanted, I just hurried into the house.
I slid on my uniform and waited on the porch for Landen to pull up.
"Aye girl, I know you see me." Alex yelled from his window.
I tried my hardest to ignore him.
"Look, Ava told me you heard us, so I get why your mad."
I rolled my eyes.
"We don't have to be together ok, I just want my phone back."
I smirked at him, "Nigga bye, I broke that damn phone."
Soon as I said that, he pulled off on me going 80 miles per hour.
Landen then pulled up, he honked the horn, " let's go girl."
I ran over to his car, "Why don't candy ride with you to work?" I asked putting my seat belt on.
"She has her own car plus she starts a different time then me."
I looked out the window as I listened to the music on the radio.
"I'm sorry for how she has be acting, I know that's uncomfortable for you."
I shook my head, "No, she is ok." I said in a not sure voice.
We pulled in the back of the restaurant, "Here is the money I was going to give you."
He tried to hand me 200 dollars again.
"No, Landen stop trying to help." I pushed his hand away.
"Look, get your battery fixed Storm, because Candy don't like me picking you up either."
I looked into his eyes and then snatched the money out his hand, "Why is she so jealous of me? She is pretty too."
He shrugged , "Thats just how she is."
I rolled my eyes and got out the car.

Work was very boring.
I wanted to fall to sleep washing dishes.
I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I looked back to see Candy.
She was chewing gum super hard. She pointed her long finger nail into my face, "My man said he has to let you go."
I looked at her crazy, "What?"
