NEXT DAY (April 30th)

TO SAKURA

sakura: i'm not going to ask you if you want a break because i know you're capable of still going.

sakura's expression was stern, it was certainly evident that she had no intention of stopping what herself and sasuke were doing. while she was still up and ready to continue this session, sasuke rested on the floor with his legs spread out and jaw completed dropped as if it were to make it easier to breath. his chest bounced up and down with each deep breath he took in and released back out.

sakura: sasuke, we're going in for another round.

she spoke with no hitches to her voice and sasuke's sweat grew cold. he figured there was no way of contradicting what she was saying and so with a large sigh, he stood back and they continued their session.

naruto: c'mon, who thought it would be a good idea to have a big hockey game on a tuesday night, and then the next day have hardcore practice after school? y'know if you ask me, it's torture.

naruto laid himself down across the gym's bench and ran his fingers through his blonde locks, the air that seemed to be around him was awfully hotter than what it should have been.

he dragged his weary eyes to the side to see the duo back up on their feet and and practicing once more, his lips just slightly curving upwards despite seeing his best friend drenched in sweat.

sakura was currently training sasuke and naruto with their hockey skills alone, and the said duo wasn't prepared in the slightest for the intensity of training that sakura had implanted into today's session.

naruto: i think i'm going to go home, i'm hungry and tired and that's definitely not a good mix.

he chuckled through mortification and stood to his feet, catching the attention of the working duo and stopping them from their training.

sakura: okay, i'll tell shikamaru to pass you my math notes tomorrow then.

naruto: um sakura, i don't really want your math notes.

sakura's jaw dropped and sasuke let out his first chuckle in the past 3 hours.

naruto: you were the one who got the lowest math score out of all of us y'know, but thanks for the help for hockey!

sakura's brow twitched and was very tempted to retort, although she simply smiled and reciprocated a nod.

sakura: see you tomorrow!

naruto ran towards his best friends and offered the female a hug, which she took with a merriment, however when it came to the male he simply took a step back and crossed his arms.

naruto: i wouldn't hug you in a million years, teme!

sasuke burdensomely looked over to the blonde and heaved a sigh.

sasuke: you hugged me yesterday, you damn liar.

naruto's eyes widened, a bundle of chuckles escaping both sasuke and sakura and causing naruto to stiffly turn his body around and take his leave without uttering another word to them. murmurs could be heard, although nothing was audible enough for neither sasuke nor sakura to be able to tut back to him.

when the doors closed, sakura eyed sasuke and watched the way he heavily breathed out. he was tired and she could see that he just barely had enough energy to stand─ and so with a warm touch, she placed her hand onto sasuke's shoulder and smiled.

sakura: okay now we can take a break, or just stop for the day. it's up to you.

sasuke continued to breath heavily although kept his attention to the door where naruto had just left from.
